Really nice pixel art and music. I just don’t get whether I won or lost in the end😅. I played through a few times differently, but it always ends the same.

Developer

I'm glad you liked it!! And the difficulty can be pretty easy indeed, you would lose once the enemy gets too suspicious or the timer runs out!

Submitted

That was super fun :)
Really cool mechanic, and it nailed the jam theme perfectly.
I loved the visual style and the music. Great job overall!

Developer

Thank you so much!!

I really liked the music it seemed to add a lot to the overall feel of the game. The cards and character interactions with the cards were entertaining.  I liked the art style. I agree with other comments that I wasn't entirely sure what I was suppose to do. I was mostly focused on the stats to the left and wasn't sure how I was suppose to get the required money in the timeline. I got there eventually. Fun game, feels like a demo!

Thanks a lot! I appreciate a lot the feedback and I will work on it for the future!

Hey, Really enjoyed your game!

I'm not going to lie it was a bit difficult to understand, but trying to figure out how it worked was genuinely enjoyable.

  • The pixel art was really amazing (as well as your submission page).
  • The dialogue was very humorous and the narrative really well done.
  • The music definitely fits the aesthetic and chillness of the game.
  • The game was incredibly innovative.

Minor Feedback

  • It took me quite some time to notice the "deal" price and multiplier hovering above the character's heads. I was a lot more invested in getting their "trait meters" higher. I think the deal price font should pop more or be as noticeable as the meters (some how).
  • The "deal" or "no deal" cards took me a bit to understand since I already wasn't paying attention to the "Deal price." It didn't register at first that if we click "no deal" the price would go back to default.

Overall, incredibly creative game! Aesthetic, theme, and audio were all super cohesive. Even if confusing at first - it some how kept me really engaged - like a puzzle to solve.

If you develop it further, I'd love to make the ferret's ears blush again. Great work!!

Developer

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback!I do need to work on a smoother intro, and you make a great point that maybe the deal price was not as clear and the trait meter calls more attention.
I will take your comments and improve this project further! I'll let you know if there are more chances to make the ferret's ears blush again Lol!

I liked the mechanics of the game. Trying to get the ferret to like you is a fun idea. I can tell that man has been through it lol. Great work.

Developer

Hahaha Thank you so much!

It was a bit difficult to understand at first, but then it was pure joy. Very good, very innovative and fun, great job.

Developer

I'm glad you were able to get it eventually!! I need to work on a smoother intro but i'm glad you enjoyed it after that!

It took me a while to figure out what I had to do but that was such an interesting take on the theme! The art is really pretty and it was nice to go around testing the effects of the cards. Great job!

Neat entry with a well executed and unique concept! Did take me a little while to figure out what I was supposed to do, but it was pretty fun once I got the hang of it. Nice work!

Thank you!!

Damn I felt so bad for scamming people but so good at the same time. Such an AWESOME game, loved every part of it. Using cards to dialogue and the mini games are simple but fun.

Developer

HAHAHA I appreciate it, making it a silly game while still ripping them off was the goal that you feel bad but good! Thank you so much for seeing that :)

Submitted

This was such an amazing concept. Once I had figure out what I had to do It beacme very fun to see how I could manipulate the stats and the quick time mini games really helped break up the gameplay. Very well done! Very polished game

Thank you so much!!

One of the best art and animation games i’ve ever seen. The gameplay was a little confusing, but i had a lot of fun messing around with the characters! The game is overall really fun, and not much to comment about!

Developer

Hahaha thank you! I'm glad you found the art and characters fun! I appreciate the feedback as well

The art's great and I love the animation work. I didn't quite understand what the tickets were referring to but it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. I wasn't quite sure how the different stats played into each other so I think a bit of a tutorial could have helped but I was still able to beat night 2. Great work!

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback!

It was a fun experience. Card games are not my cup of tea but I can still appreciate the gameplay. There is a strong risk taking theme here but it seems that it's all about RNG except the minigame cards. I wish there would be more outside factors that influence the coinflip. But overall you did great.

Developer

Thanks a lot! And that is fair, I did some working on the system so it wasn't so RNG based off your choices but it does feel like that some times. I do wish to work on the minigames more in the future to improve that. Thank you for the feedback!

Submitted

Really enjoyed playing this game don't really have to many problems, but I'm lowkey terrible at it though.

Developer

Hahaha that's totally fair, thanks for playing!

(I only played night 1)

this is actually, really goddamn good, I got extremely addicted and hooked, you can definitely turn this into  a full game too, and you should definitely do that

5/5 on all categories for me.

Developer

I am glad you enjoyed it!! I'm honored to hear this looks interesting for you as a full game! I see it as a foreseeable future :))
Thanks a lot!!

This is a lot of fun! I like how different characters have different levels of each trait you need to get, so they require different strategies. I also love pickpocketing everyone.

Developer

Hahaha pickpocketing everyone is so fun!! I am glad you enjoyed it!
