I was kinda disappointed there wasn't another level! The timer makes this pretty exciting, and makes opening chests and getting upgrades really satisfying because it allows for faster killing of zombies. I like how short the level is, I would have loved to see more snappy levels and to see some of them get more challenging.

I loved the theme of this, and the "fun" button gave me such a genuine laugh. I wish there was something to mitigate enemies spawning on top of you, but otherwise I loved the gameplay loop.  Very fun and chaotic game, I really enjoyed it.

Pretty fun and stressful, its pretty satisfying to pick up the numbers correctly! I like the aesthetic, the game generally looks great. I was kind of frustrated by how large the hitboxes are for the boxes, I kept pressing the boxes while I was trying to grab the lower numbers and that ultimately ended up killing my run, other than that it was very fun and challenging.

Very pretty game, I like the visuals a lot and the way the balloons glow. I think this could have used some way of looking down below you, sometimes I felt like I was making decisions blind.

This is pretty fun! I like how your character is weak but by strategizing the upgrades you take you can become very powerful, that's something I like about roguelikes. My strategy was to get as much bread as possible but I ended up getting so powerful that I broke the game and the amount of money I had led to an integer overflow and I had negative money. I liked the 3D environment and the strategy involved in the combat,

This was really fun! I love how the combat system encourages you to maintain a mid range distance so you can shoot enemies and then go for a close range kill, it was super satisfying. I would have liked for the enemies to generally have higher money rewards, because I loved the back and forth between killing enemies and scanning items and I wish you could go between those more quickly. Overall this was a very fun shooter.

The artstyle and theme for this game is really great! I like the idea of this version of Papers, Please where the people you check get on a bus and stay with you for longer stretches of the game. The UI was very interesting and I like the approach of making it look like it's really on paper. Additionally, the setting and creatures were very cool to see. Unfortunately, I feel the game does not have enough internal consistency. These types of games should reward paying attention to little details. For example, I thought I was clever for noticing that one of the Longarms had "Longarm" on their ID instead of "Longarms", but then I noticed every other longarms also had that. Similarly, every Seat Demon I found had dialogue, even though the journal said they were silent. I think this is ultimately a matter of game jams not allowing for enough time to polish games but it still lead to a confusing gameplay experience. If you do a postjam update, I think these kinds of changes are what could make the gameplay very interesting and special!

Oh no, I did! Sorry about that lol

This one is really neat! I really love how the puzzles expand upon each other, it seemed like a simple line connecting puzzle game but it got so much more complex it was great, and there was so much hidden! I caught that Portal easter egg btw.

This is a great use of items, I loved trying to place them on the roulette wheel and set up combos! It's also such a great tonal shift from the casino theme to the gross, dark theme of Sloplan's lair.

This was pretty fun! I love the dark aesthetic and the spotlight view you get when your camera is in a wall. The humor was also pretty great!

Mine isn't a 2D game but it is a Godot game, check it out if you can!

I like the audio and generally the cerebral vibe! This entry is very unique, and I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot, as well as the hidden messages throughout.

Really satisfying strategy game, and I love how the risk-reward system of the snackrifice mechanic affects the resource management aspect of this. Great theming and great artstyle and audio!

This entry is really solid. The gameplay is really fun and fast paced, and the factory building gamemode interacts with the worker gamemode in such a satisfying way, though I'm a fan of that type of optimization-focused game so it might feel better for me than it does for others. Also, this game is really funny. I feel like the joke of dangerous working conditions in video games has been done to death, but this game does it incredibly well (The joke where you're told to lower the safety level and its already incredibly low made me laugh out loud)

This game is so interesting! I love the asthetic a lot, and the cookies acting as cards in a deckbuilder is great. The gameplay is pretty simple but it works, and I had a lot of fun with it. The background is really pretty, and I loved spotting Cheshire Cat back there.

Great idea, I like the artstyle and general theme of being a rebellious kid! I think the level design is too difficult for the game. I love the concept of getting buffs and debuffs from a slot machine, and said buffs and debuffs are interesting, but occasionally I'd get something like random dashes and it would make my run borderline impossible.  Despite this, I had fun with it when these issues weren't in place.

Definitely the best pixel art I've seen so far from this jam! The atmosphere was beautiful, and the open-ended nature of this was very cool. I like the three-lane combat system, but I think the enemies should have been more balanced; Some attacks were incredibly predictable and some were completely random, The combat system was still satisfying.

It's great that you're giving lesser known games more attention! Please check out the horror game me and my teammates made!

The game has a great art style, its very impressive that you put this all together in such a short amount of time! I would have enjoyed seeing more obstacles to come across, it felt a bit too simple to get to the end. Overall, the game was pretty cute, and I liked the little lens that was put on the character.

Gave yours a rating, I had a lot of fun with it! The movement system was very impressive.

This is a really satisfying game to play, the choice to speed up when you crash into things is genius and it lends a real sense of mastery to it. It's very fun!

Incredibly creative use of an artstyle, its a great twist on the stealth game! I do wish the enemies indicated when they turned around, but its still very fun to steal from them!

Gave it a rating

I like the character design, its cute! I enjoyed the enemies and their different formations. I think there wasn't enough incentive to not always go for the riskiest outcome, since I always wanted to go for the difficult enemies to get the highest reward but I didn't end up getting close to losing.

Nice, gave it a rating!

Really satisfying gambling game, I like aiming for a specific upgrade. Unfortunately I'm way too risky a gambler.

Gave it a rating!

I personally wish the humans had less of a memory, so I don't get killed by an NPC that I thought I escaped a minute ago. I love the medieval theme and how seriously the music takes itself, the soundtrack was a highlight!

Rated!

I love the asthetic of it! I like the top down shooter aspects, and I loved trying to strategically pick risks and buffs, but as risks kept piling onto each other it did get pretty difficult to manage. It's a lot of fun though, and I love how there's three different guns to pick from!

Rated! Got a score of 5591.
