How does the game fit the theme?
You're literally risking your biscuits (currency) for more biscuits (rewards). Every decision is a calculated gamble: play it safe with low-risk cards or go all-in with high-stakes plays that could either make you rich or wipe you out completely.
The deeper you push into your run, the more biscuits you stand to gain, but one failed score target means losing everything and starting over. It's the ultimate risk/reward loop - you're always one card away from either hitting the jackpot or losing it all for those sweet, sweet biscuits.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The card art used in the cards are AI-generated. The music is AI-generated.

really fun with smooth animations, some combos seem a little overpowered, like infinite double down with momentum. probably should limit the amount of same cards in a deck or have it discard like how triple down works. but otherwise i still had a lot of fun getting to a point where i could stack infinitely and blow past the goal in one card
That's very fun game. First run for me was just a pure random, cuz I didn't understand any of the cards, just got that ROI gives you raw points. I was completely lost, but give it another chance I accidentally discovered that I can click on a card so tooltip would stay and I can actually read description of the effects. Would be much better to have effect text on the card itself instead of clicking and reading tooltips.
Well done, I enjoyed playing it.
I was confused about a lot of the starter deck cards at first. It seemed like there were wildly different expected values to the cards with some being outright negative. After tinkering around a bit, it became clearer where you might use one or the other. For example, "go big or go home" is expected to lose you one point on average, but maybe you need to risk it for the higher payout if you are on your final turn. Either way, it seemed to be mostly a dump card for when you can start to crack packs and customize your deck a bit more. I ended up moving into a really nice combo deck where the early turns would all pour into chaining "double the next card" effects until the final round where I could just dump a bunch of copies of desperation. It was sick. I'm sure there are plenty of other strategies to go for, but this was my jam for sure.
Really fun. Great work!
The game looks very cool, and offers much content, but it's quite hard to reach, because a lack of tutorials
// adding a bgm would be nice ;3
Overall, I really like those card animations, both in collections and in-game. The fact that you guys pull this off in a week is awesome, looking forward to more content! > v<
I spent time to understand the gameplay since the tutorial didnt mention that I can click on the ability icon of the card. I thought they are all there in description so a little bit of confusing at first. The gameplay is quite random, I feel no control on it, maybe I didnt play long enough
got here from yr community post!
Few things to feedback:
- i find myself dragging the cards even though the turn already ended.
- winning, losing scene would be good
- adding more juices eg. how much points you gain after betting
- maybe implement a multiplier for successful betting on more than 2?
game is funn
I like your drag and drop mechanic, the gameplay loop is engaging and it is a creative take on the theme; well done!
The drag & drop mechanism is pretty solid, and i do find it interesting not just a gamble dumb after 2 turn. Love how each move trully decide our score haha. Great game!
Great work! Maybe automating the End Turn button when plays left turns 0 might be a good idea!
This game has such a strong, confident identity from the moment I started playing, I felt pulled into its world. The risk-reward tension is brilliantly handled, making every decision feel meaningful (and a little nerve-wracking in the best way). And that soundtrack? Instantly bookmarked. It’s rare to find a jam game that nails both mood and mechanics so cohesively. You’ve clearly poured thought into every detail, and it shows. Don’t let the jam end here — this deserves to grow!
I usually don't play card game, but your game feels different. I enjoyed the visual and mechanics, great game !
Incredible, I love how there’s that sense of risk, I really like it. As I read below, I also downloaded the game just to listen to the music. Overall, I really like the whole package, well done!
I liked this game
Loved the game much!!! The idea is great and very addictive, love the visual style and the depth that the game has! It just needs a little polish, although it's already pretty impressive that you've created this game in one week. Great job! And don't stop creating!
I saw couple of balatro inspired games in this jam.Yours is one of the greats. I really liked it. gameplay is addictive I spend half an hour without knowing it. Great job. Just one little thing. Maybe add a soundtrack while we are playing. Good music might do wonders to this game.
Great to hear!
The web version for some reason does not have the music. But if you download the game, there is a chill background tune.
This was really fun! The card picking was really juicy and frantic =D
Fun little card game
I went into -110 and got myself to 60 and lost, amazing, instead of clicking the card and then it telling you what it does hovering over it does instead would work better I think, I didn't know what the cards did until I had like 3 hands left and figured that out, and was just putting random cards, I Really like the sound design.
This was very fun! I had fun making a deck full of Safe Bet + Double Down and just constantly double down-ing until I could play a mega ROI near the end of the round. That ultimately didn't scale enough but I had a great time! Well done!
awesome what was your node score in the end? Our bug-abusing build has made it to 42 xD
