Interesting idea, liked the models and the overall idea of playing as an ant in the kitchen, there are vibes of ratatouille. Good level design. The controls feel a bit airy when jumping, but overall we play as an ant, so maybe that's how it's controlled in real life. Good game

This was a good one — really fun level design, great models, and a very unique concept. The only thing that threw me off a bit was the camera moving with the player, which felt unnecessary since the fixed camera already works well. Having a smoother 180° turn option would also have been nice. I like tank controls, but turning back felt a bit frustrating at times. Aside from that, it’s a great game and I had a lot of fun with it!

Also, if you have time, please rate my game :)

Yoo this one is really good! Really enjoyed collectiong the sesame seeds, i ended up with 99/100 (infuriatingly so). I do wish the gondola dragged you along with it instead of making you move along it, you do make a funny joke about it afterwards tho! Great stuff and congrats on the submission!!

Pretty strange game. It's obstacle course, but I don't feel any kinda risk or some feeling I can fail. A bit awkward movement, but I Think it suits for ants and makes that game a bit harder. Interesting art and maybe that game can be good for a speedrun players. Sad, that audio is gone and IMO the theme is missed.

I absolutely love adding the RPG element to a platformer, it makes it so much more immersive. I'm not just jumping around random platforms for no reason, I AM the ant.

The camera was a little sensitive and clunky, and the trapeses could be a pain sometimes, but overall really well executed and enjoyable.

I like the design of the level but I have problems with the camera while moving the player.

I'm glad I took the time to play this game. It's a bite sized 3D platformer with spectacular level design. The concept of playing as an ant shines in every aspect of the environments - the whole experience is based on using food items, kitchen utensils, etc. as platforms, and it really clicked for me. I cleared the level with 99 of the cookie crumbs, with all my lives except 1, which I lost when I was getting used to the controls. Speaking of which, the tank controls are the only thing holding this game back. Still an absolute blast to play!

it’s a charming looking games, the models are cute the theme connection with the story is fire I actually think the controls are okay but they do need some fine tuning, good job overall!

A fun 3D platforming game, the camera controls were a bit too sensitive for me which made it difficult to control, but other than I enjoyed the overall environment

Really a good game, and it resonates with the theme just so much. Amazing concept

Great job! Enjoyed the little lampshading after getting off the gondola where the ant says "Why'd you wave your arms like that", really made it a lot funnier :)

You should work on the controls so it is easier to enjoy the game. Anyway: Good Job!

Developer

It may have been an error of judgement to opt for tank controls, if that's what you're referring to. I thought it seemed more.. ant-like? As well as upping the challenge to help balance the length of the stage. Sorry if it instead just made it frustrating to navigate. But thank you for the feedback, it's good to know!

Nice work! I liked all the ant commentary along the way.

I can tell you had fun with the level design ! Also that ant had a point, why was I flapping my arms 😂 ?

It’s subtly challenging, which kept me playing. Really enjoyed it!

cool game, the sensitivity of the mouse was a bit too high, but a very nice game, the art looks very good!

Love the ideia, graphics so nice, the mouse sensitive hard to play, but you can deal with it. I really enjoy the level design, nice! Congratz!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, for some reason the sensitivity is way higher in the browser than when I was testing it. That bug should be fixed now somewhat. I'll add further sensitivity options post-jam.

Good but the Audio is not good

Developer

That's fair. Audio was last on the list and the time just didn't quite cut it. And I didn't like the idea of just using generic or placeholder sounds last minute. So that'll all get added after. But thanks for the feedback!

Hi! 👋

I totally get that — time always runs so fast during a jam! I think you made the right call not to throw in random sounds last minute. Excited to see what you add after the jam, the game is already fun as it is! 🎮✨
