How does the game fit the theme?
Oui oui biscuit !
You play a bakery manager who must take risks with each recipe, choosing the right ingredients that will allow you to earn enough money to continue the game. Of course, the "biscuit" inspired us too!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Really neat game you all have made, wow! The visuals are great, the SFX is tasty, and the gameplay, quite cool! If there's one problem I have, it's just that when you screw up and don't cook something right, it gets binned, which ended up making me lose on level 5, but I can understand why that's there (although I feel like it might be neat if, with the mixer, you would need to do another round of mixing of you almost have the right recipe). Other than that, great game!
The game is incredibly well polished, snappy, and fun to go through! I loved the almost roguelike elements when it comes to the card system at the end of each day! If I had to give some pointers if this were to be improved, I would decrease the card size as you obtain more, as they obscure a lot of the screen when holding a ton of cards. I would also add a highlight in the recipe menu for the ingredients on hand, and highlight the item itself if it can be made. Adding a couple of alternative soundtracks to the baking section can make the tracks seem less repetitive, although this is more of a nitpick than anything. Nonetheless, this is highly impressive and I wish the team the best in their gamemaking careers!
This game is quite different. I really liked the background and gameplay. In terms of sound and gameplay, for me it was one of the best of the jam.
The intro was soooo chill and then it reminded me of Overcooked. Stress and Mayhem ๐ well done!
The design and overall idea is awesome. Loved that there was a tutorial to demonstrate how to play the game. Everything seemed quite responsive. Well done!
Absolutely amazing! Very clear and helpful tutorial, wonderful visuals, great music, nice sfx, clear goal, easy to check recipes, perfect amount of player choice, and honestly, I could go on forever lol. Can't believe this was made in only a week! Only piece of advice I could possibly give is to maybe pause the game while looking at the recipes, but it depends on how much stress you want to inflict lol, maybe it could be an option for an easy mode? I managed to make it to day 6 before I failed after getting horrible luck with the ingredients and ran out of time lol. Seriously, this game has incredible potential, you should definitely keep working on it after the jam is over!
I'd say this is one of the biggest hidden gem! It takes creativity to a whole new level by combining a baking game and a deck builder. I loved absolutely everything about the visuals, from the 3D designs, to the UI (cards, recipe screen), and especially that curved guiding line and the selection highlights on the utensils! The music fits the game so well as it gets really intense pretty quickly, and by the third round I was flinging ingredients into the multiple mixers and ovens like I'm the baking wizard :D Really well done!
Can't rate this game highly enough! Literally! The game starts off with a tutorial to explain the mechanics, without which I would not be able to understand the game. But once you get in a groove, this game reveals itself to be an addictive time-management puzzler that oozes with charm. Every part of the package fits the theme - the music, graphics, etc. are on point & help sell the theme. At its core, the game does a good job of presenting the player with choice - save up cards for a big recipe or cook something cheap quickly - and this simple mechanic turns out to have a lot of depth. Could be my favorite game of the jam! Maybe! Incredible job by this team... and fellow Godot devs no less!
Thank you so much for this fantastic review! We put a lot of effort into this game, so it means a lot to us! We're thrilled that you enjoyed the tutorial as well! I personally spent a lot of time on it to make the game as easy to understand as possible without making it too long! I can't thank you enough!
UNDERRATED, the music is amazing and makes you wanna rush, the gameplay and ui are very smooth and wellmade, the idea is nice, I just wish the recipe book was always visible cuz it turned to me trying different combinations to see what works, overall goodjob!
Hugely underrated! Excellent visuals, music gameplay. Just very well done. And that french music is giving such a vibe :v
Hello, your game is fantastic! I had so much fun playing it. I loved the tutorial which helped a lot. Perhaps I would like if the recipe for the chocolate cookie would be still highlighted after you close the recipe menu because I forgot what I had to bake again XD
I have to emphasize the music - it is sooo amazing and fitting the game well!
I managed to get to day 5... almost 6 but it was really close... too close ๐

Thank you so much for playing our game! We're so glad you enjoyed it :)
The chocolate chip cookie recipe was supposed to stay on the screen, but we had to remove it at the last minute because of a bug...
Yes, our composer is awesome ;)
Well done! And well done for finding the double menu bug, we thought no one would find it x)
Never seen a baking deck builder before! Pretty simple gameplay but with some good tension and payoffs as that timer ticks down and all I have is sugar and chocolate haha Music really fits the game and doesn't get too repetitive. Very nice!
Wait, where are the ratings? This is great, this needs more visibility! A very nice mixture of mechanics from deck-builders and cooking games. I had a good time optimizing my approach and memorizing recipes. The presentation and audio work are well done too.
Bon travail tout le monde!
