How does the game fit the theme?
The risk comes with the chance of falling with every calculated swing and grapple. No movement is safe, but each time you take a risk, you get closer and closer to the biscuit at the top of the tower.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music from Unity store

Good game, I sucked real bad at it though lol
My grapple/swing-coordination is insufficient for this game 😂 still, very well done. Nice tune, good controls and consistent graphics.
Great game! The rage game angle works really well. The grapple hooks work in a pretty unique way that was fun to wrap my head around!
Great game! Smart idea to go for a rage game given the jam theme since every move feels risky. The grappling hook mechanic and the cat animations make it very satisfying to play. Nice one!
I love this game. I love physics based games like this one. One recommendation I have is to let the player be more free. Give them more maneuverability in the air, and maybe allow constant alteration between the two grapple modes. This would give so much more freedom and fun. It would probably break the level layout you just made, but I think it would make the gameplay much more addicting. Great work!
Great rage game, unfortunately I'm bad at rage games, I was stuck at 26% for 15min, if you can suggest how to pass it ill be happy to try again.
Very cool rage game :D (at least I raged a few times). Simple idea and well executed.
One small thing, i whish i could control the length of the robe while hanging (with W / S for example).
Great Work!
I love this kind of games. It is annoying and satisfying at the same time and just the right amount. good job!
I actually linked the movement mechanic a lot. It's implemented in it's owe way which the movement feel unique.
Although, was not able to figure out where to use the swing mechanic anywhere. Was also got stuck at the 25% mark for a 10-20 minutes.
I loved it! The bounciness was fun as well.
The controls took a while to get used to and I often clicked the wrong mouse button of the 2 but still a fun game!
It was really fun, I liked the hook system. It took me a while to get used to it, but it turned out great and with such cute art!
Great rage game, successfully made me very frustrated XD
I really love the gameplay, the visual and the audio, they're really well made, though I feel the theme is still kinda weak
I’m glad it got the intended reaction out of you. Thanks for the acknowledgment of the theme being weaker than the rest of the game. The two of us didn’t have much art skills doing this game so we couldn’t deliver as well on the ambience and visual of a theme so we might look into getting an actual artist on the team to fill in that gap so we can feel confident in developing a better game identity. Thanks for the feedback
Really fun game!
thanks!
When frustration is fun...until it isn't.
Very well done!!!!!!!!!!
(I am glad I shave my head, otherwise I'd have a lot of sweeping up to do now.)
haha, the game did its job
I wanted to beat the challenge time before commenting. There is plenty of time to save but here is the best I have done
This game is extremely addicting and adds a new level of complexity to the typical foddian rage game. Sure there's a fun gimmick and interesting challenges with long falls and merciful catch points, and it does great at all those things. But on top of all of that, you really have to understand what you can do and how you can use your toolset to get through the stages. In the green section especially, a lot of the difficulty is figuring out how to progress, and the moment of realisation that a jump is possible is incredibly satisfying. I would pay to play more of this type of gameplay. Very well done
Amazing time! The 12:34, I set up as a starting time, was my first run through of the game, so I knew there was a lot of time to save, but 4 minutes is quite incredible. That being said, I did get on a sub-3-minute pace but bottled it on the final platform in the blue section. It was tragic, but that's how speedrunning these types of games goes. I like how you point out the puzzle of understanding what to do with your skill set. We had some playtesters go through the sections, and some found the path quicker than others. When they did, it was amazing to see their reactions. Especially the green section, it's very short but packed with high momentum swings and tight tolerances.
Also, lucky for you, if you do want to continue playing this game, we might be continuing it to create a DLC for a not-so-nice Steam release, where all the safety nets we put into the game jam, as well as the lack of super crazy movement, will be stripped away.
God, i love wall bounce. Whole mechanic is so simple, yet so effective. Great job!
We utilized the built-in Unity bounciness physics and had to tune it extensively to achieve the desired balance between gravity and fall, ensuring that the character didn't bounce too far. This was to prevent the bounce from feeling floaty and too fast, which would make the bounce feel unrewarding. It was a tight balance.
This game was infuriating, well done. I liked the bounciness of the cat and how it caused tension everytime it landed on a platform.
Just a tiny visual suggestion but it would have felt/looked really satisfying each time if the grappling hook launched out faster with the iconic waviness and then sudden tightening as it hits a surface.
Nice and simple game that goes well with the theme!
Haha, infuriating it is, what would you expect from a rage game. I did think about giving the rope animations, even trying to make the rope fully physics-based for a time, but making it a simple line just made the gameplay feel consistent and predictable. A visual change, though, would be nice.
This reminds me of bionic commando. I also really liked the simple design and visuals
Thanks, I've never heard of Bionic Commando before.
Good game, shoutout to ragebait cat. This truly feels like a foddan game,
Gotta love ragebait cat
Love the artstyle and challenge! Controls and mechanics also felt easy to use which was nice
Thanks; we really like how the goofy yet straightforward art style turned out. We also ensured that the controls were simplified and minimal so that the player can focus on maximizing what they have at their disposal as well.
