Very cool interpretation of the theme! The only thing that confused me was the red text on a successful dodge. The concept was really fun. I was surprised the dragon only had like 30 health.

Thank you for playing! And thank you as well for the specific feedback about the dodge display. Looking back, the design might indeed have been a bit unclear. I’ll make use of this in my next game! As for the dragon’s HP of 30, you might have gotten the lowest possible value—quite impressive in its own way!

Artwork is pretty nice. Gameplay felt a little too easy, but also very easy to understand. Overall a nice game!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I’m glad you praised it, since I tried to make it as easy to understand as possible! As for the difficulty balance, I ran out of time, so that’s something I regret a little. I’ll do my best to make use of this in my next game!

Enjoyed playing this a lot, a bit on the easy side, but overall the artwork is charming and the dodge or throw mechanic is pretty interesting!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I’m glad you praised both the artwork and the game system! I also appreciate the feedback about it being a bit  easy. I’ll make use of it in my next game!

That she can't swing a sword but is able to throw it with perfect accuracy is so funny to me, I love this game! Congrats on making it very easy to understand too, most Jam games aren't this easy to immediately grasp

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! That’s right—she can’t use weapons, but when it comes to throwing, she’s better than anyone else! I tried to make the game easy to get into without relying too much on text, so I’m really glad you praised that!

Super cool game!  Hitting the monsters with books was very enjoyable!  The one thing I would comment on would be the readability of the calculation section in the bottom left.  At first, I couldn't tell if a high number was bad or good thing for the player.  I would suggest placing text saying "chance to dodge" above the calculations to make it a bit more clear.  Overall, I really loved the game!  Great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing! When I was test-playing, I also couldn’t help but laugh at how surreal it is to throw books at the enemies! Thank you for the specific advice about dodging—it’s really helpful for me to learn!

It’s a really charming, easy-to-pick-up "dungeon-crawler". I really liked the risk-reward management of the game

Developer

Thank you for playing! I tried to make it simple and easy to play, so I’m glad you praised that! The dilemma aspect of the game design is something I really like as well!

Great concept + art, easy to jump into, and super fun (I found myself playing it a few times to improve my score). Love the rarity aspect of the treasures, made me want to keep the orange ones even more haha.

Just curious, what is your team's high score?

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! I tried to make the game as easy to pick up as possible, so I’m really glad you praised that! By the way, my high score is 18,000!

Cute game, I especially liked the artstyle of the main character. It's very easy to get to the end though

Developer

Thank you for playing! I’m glad you complimented the illustrations since I worked hard on them whenever I could find the time. As you said, I might have made it a bit too easy. Thanks for the advice—I’ll make use of it next time!

Incredibly fun! I love the decisions that had to be made every floor, whether it was worth it to try dodging out a weak monster just to save some score. If this game had a public leaderboard, I would be optimizing my score. I finished with 18500. :) Great job guys.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I designed the game so that players would feel the dilemma of whether to throw the treasure or dodge. A score of 18,500 is amazing! My highest score is 18,000, so you’ve beaten me!

gameplay was really fun, i really liked the fact that you keep items till the end. However the game is really easy tho as all of my dodges were succesfull i took no damage

Developer

Thank you for playing! I’m glad you praised the game system. As you said, I still wanted to refine the game balance a bit more. Thank you for the feedback!
