love the visuals, but the inventory tracking, and tedium of moving things (shift click?) and arranging items is a lot.  It's not clear how to craft, or always what a particular item is.  do I have to have the items in the backpack to craft, or just the inventory?  did I miss a "crafting table"?  Good effort for a week!

Really immersive game, unfortunately I couldn't beat it, and honestly I don't know why, I was good I think, unless I didn't understand how the game works. After each cycle we have a huge inventory in the left of the screen, so each new cycle I transfer all my stuff to that inventory. And I crafted oxygen upgrade but I don't know  how to equip, so I have transferred to the inventory too. I was full with water and other stuff, have collected hammer and I was ready to build some components to escape, and then... I died. I think it depends on luck, I think, once I made the best time management in that run and even it wasn't enough to survive. Well, I was liking so much the immersion, you guys deserves congrats, really cool hand-drawn arts and music, the music is really immersive and the inventory system is really well made, if I would suggest something:

1 - I'd wish more clear instructions, I don't know if I have equipped the oxygen upgrade or not, Or why I died.

2 - A way to open inventory in any moment, once rn I only can open when I visit a house.

3 - A faster way to transfer items through inventories, at this moment I have to click to each single item in a box to my backpack.

These are suggestions to an update, congrats for your game!

Really enjoy the atmosphere of end of world vibe. Sadly it crashes 2 times. and when placing object, your object and where you place in tile doesn't follow which make it harder to play. but really enjoy it!!

Developer

im sad to hear its crashing and the inventory system doesn't work for you (its the part i worked on lmao)

but thank you for playing our silly lil game :3

The ambiance is great, and your amazing intro plays a huge role in creating this immersive world. I struggled a bit with putting items in and out of the bag. A Shift + Click option would have been great to automatically load and unload the bag, but obviously, that’s more complicated to implement. Anyway, really good job!

The Intro Animation WAS REALLYY GOOOD, i loved the visuals and that oxygen reminder gave me subnautica flashbacks, the music was good too, but for some reason all the lockers and cabinets were empty and i could not find any item

another inventory fail </3

it fails quite often, sadly it mostly seems to just work on my machine.

but thanks for playing! :3

Love the concept and aesthetic! Making an intro trailer is truly going above and beyond, haha. I did encounter some bugs, but man, atmosphere of the game is so nice! The combination of the music and oxygen level reminders is so eerie. Good work!

Developer

Thank you for playing! :3

im proud to know that THE creator of balltopia has played our game  (i love gambling)

Hey! Im one of the devs of that other round based survival game.

Really like the art, especially the intro scene and also the audio, makes it really immersive.

And how you implemented buildings as actual objects you can go in is really cool!

Love the concept and atmosphere! Couldn't quite find anything to interact with in the game but that just might be my bad luck!

Developer

Thank you!

A couple bugs have been fixed so it should be working again  :3

So this has to be the prettiest intro sequence in any game jam ever. That animation is so god damn cool.

When it comes to gameplay, maybe I'm doing something wrong but I cannot take any items I find in containers.  Mouse highlights the items but I cannot pick them up. And going back to the ship just leaves me with a fail state. Would love to explore it more before I rate it.

Developer

thank you for playing :3

im working on trying to fix that bug right now.. theres a bunch of other stuff like the UI not scaling correctly as well so the inventory is just out of the screen lmao
