How does the game fit the theme?
I tried to make a Peggle style game where the more valuable pegs permanently break. Do you choose to invest in high scoring bonuses, but risk ruining your board?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of it was made by myself, aside from some of the photographs of food are taken from Pexels with the appropriate license.

Really fun game, loved the realistic images haha, really great job!
Glad you had fun with it :D Thanks for playing
I really like the art direction with mixing real life elements into the game. Its funny to imagine a dude just sitting there with his mouth open XD. The game is fun but I hope you add more synergies to it. Great work! Also add a highscore text as well please!
I completely ran out of time to add synergies and other stuff, but I hope to get more of that going soon! Highscore text would be fun too, I have never done one of those before. Would be a fun challenge to make one :) Glad you had fun with it, thanks for the feedback!
At first I was a bit lost in the upgrade screen because there’s a lot of information per item (bonk, bonk multi, +calorie, multiX). So for the first few rounds, I just placed them randomly. But after the onboarding, it was a heck of a lot of fun, and I played like 5–6 rounds
I agree the onboarding process is still a bit clunky. I definitely need to have a better tutorial than just a static image :) Glad you had fun with it once you understood the flow!
A fun spin, upgrading the pegs themselves. It took me a minute to understand I was gaining calories on contact. I loved seeing that represented on the cookie itself. Cool interpretation of the theme, having valuable pegs break. It didn't really influence my decision-making; I tended to take all the toppings I could. I would love to see the balancing adjusted to better align with the risk element, requiring me to make difficult choices. Overall, a very solid game and quite enjoyable. Nice work.
Ha! Yeah, there's no real issue with taking ALL the peg mods right now so it makes the choices pretty trivial. I definitely want to tune it more in the future to either have less pegs or more options. Glad you had fun with it regardless, thanks for taking the time to leave a review :)
A really fun and polished game, I enjoyed the Peggle style gameplay and the peg upgrades felt meaningful and rewarding. I didn't get how flicking works at first, especially the fact that it flicks the cookie in the direction opposite of your mouse, but that's mainly just me being extremely dumb. Although I must say that having to drag your mouse to the left, while the cookie itself is on the left side felt a little bit clunky since there's not much space for you to move your mouse around.I personally just kept accidentally bringing my cursor over to the second monitor.
Despite this very minor thing, this was still an extremely enjoyable experience, and those irl photos as graphics really felt like a breath of fresh air!
Extremely good feedback, thank you! I agree that the dragging element isn't very clean. I wanted to have the preview line arc a bit so you can see that you don't need to drag things back very far. Really once the flicking hand starts shaking you're pretty much at max power. Definitely want to keep working on this in the future :D
would be nice to see you expand on it in the future!
