I lived to be 90!

This was a cute little game, a mix of dialogue, quick time event, and a memory test!

The oven QTE was super easy and felt a little slow after a while, I honestly don't even know what happens if you don't wait until it's in the green section.

Creative, intriguing, and fully embraced the theme in both setting and gameplay, nice work!

The monster story was amazing, it really catched me off guards. I love the artwork too it looks awsome.

I was amazed at how much this game has and how consistent it is, then realized it was a collab. Great teamwork! The artstyle is unique, the story frames everything, and the mechanic has the right mix of "trying to find the right solution" vs "putting your own twist on the order". I like how you picked $400 as the money you owe. Made it feel even more cozy! Then you BETRYAYED MY TRUST :'(

Good job!

The art is .... chief kiss

11/10, this game needs more attention!

I especially loved the music, good work by the composer/sound designer. At first, I felt it was a bit off and not fitting the theme, but I quickly understood why it was this way. Great work and as someone who composes myself, I loved that work! really good.

Great jam submission. Polished enough on the gameplay and mechanical side, but shines on the art, music and narrative side!

Reminds me "good pizza great pizza". Great submission!

Thank you thank you thank you for not giving away the twist.

I was absolutely convinced that this was going to be a cozy cooking / restaurant management game.

I was actually debating with myself whether I should bring up the music, sound somewhat sinister and out of place with the wholse pastel esthetic. Should have known.

This is exactly my type of twisted. Beautiful sprite work aswell.

My only real complaint is that $400 seems laughably low for whats being asked of you, I think you could have added a couple more zeroes there ;)

Also, can you confirm to me whether the "good" / uncorrupted path actually works? I tried a couple playthroughs to get all the endings, but eventhough I turned down the demon at every opportunity on my second run, he allways adressed me as if we made a deal. Not sure if I encountered a bug, or if that path is just unfinished.

Eitherway - loved the concept. If this was inspired by anything perticular I would love to hear it, 'cause I desperately wanna play more like this now.

I got scammed by the innocent and cute graphics! Refund! Jokes aside, this is a surprising entry! Love the cute pixel artwork, especially like the twist, I think it works great. I played twice just to see both endings, though sadly, the dialogue doesn't differ much, but I will take it.

A minor critique of mine is that the game really forces you to take the alternate if you want to repay the debt, as it's impossible not to do so and come anywhere near the amount needed. It would be nice to at least give the illusion of the possibility of making it without taking the offer. And maybe have different consequences that depend on how many deals you've taken.

Anyway, I am ahead of myself. The game is really nice and I like it a lot. Well done!

That twist was really unexpected! I did hope there was a way to earn the money without making the deal, but I can see how that would go against the theme. Well Done!

Perfect game for the perfect jam, didn't expected this to be such kind of game at all!! I came in thinking it be cozy and such, (def need some warnings).

I can't give much feedback besides that in the beginning I didn't understand much what to do but after that all my biscuits where perfect!! So maybe a liltle tutorial would help! If that is added it be a complete perfect game that many would like to play!

Classic baking game, lovely. And I get the urge to turn it around like this haha

I was honestly surprised about the turn the game took. It was a nice change of pace. Definitely a hidden gem here. Audio design was really fun. I think mechanically it worked though some more ways to distract the player as the recipe order would make it more challenging. The progressive changes that occured near the end were funny.

I like it, simple fun game, also art is amazing

I think next is spoiler so I'm gonna write it down:

I like that it took a dark turn, i did not expect that, also is it possible to actually beat the game normally, like without sacrificing anything?

Developer(+1)

hehe thank you so much! We wanted to put that in the game, like it would be possible to beat the game if you made all the orders perfectly, but we didn't have enough time to do so.

I was confused like, making everything perfect (I think at least) and still lost (got bad ending ) but then I thought, you have to risk and sacrifice to achieve your dreams, just not to that extreme irl ofc, but yeah, it was really cool honestly,  loved it
