Getting hit loses your upgrades. You can choose to play on a higher difficulty and risk losing a lot for a chance of getting better upgrades. You are encouraged to take risks to have enough upgrades to beat the boss.

Really neat game! The control are a bit weird, I kept wanting to press space to jump, but overall I enjoyed it a lot - the final boss fight was a cool touch, great submission!

I loved the art for this game and the combat. Woulda preferred if it was A &D to move and Space to jump and click to attack but maybe thats just me. I grinded so much I managed to beat level 7 with no power ups. I feel like the game could've benefited from some more vertical levels where you can jump on platforms to avoid enemies and so on, but overall a great experience. Keep up the good work!
