Description
One summer night, the coastal city of Moonglow is suddenly enshrouded by darkness. Coral, a local girl, embarks on a quest to turn on all of Moonglow's lighthouses and bring light to the city.
The tracks would encompass a level or set of levels where Coral travels through the beach and, after swimming through jellyfish infested waters, reaches a lighthouse where she turns on the light.

This is sick! I love your rhythms and grooves, they feel super natural and are made even greater by the harmonies and chord progressions. Each track flows really well and matches the vibe of the others while still feeling very sonically distinct. This is a really great entry and I don't know if I really have any feedback, this feels like very professional chiptune

Tell Coral when she gets to the lighthouse, she might as well strobe it up for the people of Moonglow.

Super cool arrangement, nice chords, can't believe no one mentionned DK Country especially for Flow that's almost the same vibe but you still made your own thing which I love, really enjoyed this one , well done !
Yeah, I have no notes. This submission was great. Harmony kept my interest throughout, themes were developed well, and you did awesome with the VRC6. Great work!

Always great to hear VRC6, ever since Shovel Knight I haven't been able to get enough of it. Really nice soundtrack, while I did find the start a bit slow, it really picks up near the middle of Lightbringer (the way the chords evolve around 1:00 was beautiful) and when Jellyfishes starts playing (which was my favourite. I assume this plays a lot through the game so this is a good thing haha). I really enjoyed Lighthouse, the notes volume going up and down reminded me of an actual lightouse, with its light spinning around it. And Afterlight is a really cool ending track, reminds me of the original stuff from Megaman Maker.
The story told through the album was simple, but effective. It didn't overstay its welcome.
Overall a really nice time.

I'm always impressed when people can layer chiptune like this. Whenever I try to do that it becomes super muddy and bad.
The sweeping notes acting as the lighthouse light as it spins is a really cool auditory effect! (I assume that was the intent). It translates good enough that you didn't even have to say anything for me to get it from the music alone.
Flow: This is a really cool chord progression! I had to run to my piano to figure it out: Dbm7 - Bbm7 - Dbm7 - AbM - BM (CbM?) - Fm - Ebm - DbM - BM (CbM?) - Bbm - AM - AbM7. This is a really cool modulation. I’m adding this song to my personal playlist!
Jellyfishes: The urgency and danger is apparent! I am reminded of original Donkey Kong Country tracks with this one! I really love the B section at 0:42! It has a kind of pop-like bassline, but really interesting harmonization in the arpeggios overtop. This is great!
Lighthouse: I love the melody in this song. It sounds heroic, but also questioning at the same time.
Afterlight: The jumping time signature is really creative in this one and adds just the amount of space needed for the melody. This type of composition is super impressive to me, because you treat the melody like a main character and you accompany it wherever it needs to go.
Overall: I think the intricacies of your composition for this soundtrack make this a super impressive project for me. I would absolutely love to play the game that this accompanies and I will be looking out for more music from you in the future! Excellent work and thank you for sharing!
short and sweet!! i especially love the use of the static noise fading in and out in "flow" to represent the ocean waves crashing onto the shore! composition for the entire ost is also fantastic! i could really put myself in Coral's shoes throughout the journey :)
Somehow relaxing and adventurous at the same time. Afterlight sounds like such a perfect concluding song. The noise channel is used really well for atmosphere. Great job!
Lovely, classic sounds. I feel like modern music tends to want to be very grand and bombastic and that is lovely, but sometimes the simplicity of some chiptune just sends you into the video game so much easier. I would happily play through a game with this as the soundtrack!
