How did you implement the theme?
We interpreted the theme: "corruption" as political corruption, so in this game you accept bribes to grow your guitar collection.
How did you add the special object?
The Player's character is taking bribes to buy as much guitars as possible, one of the game's endings involves guitars. And also there's a wizard character that holds a guitar. Guitar instruments are also used in the background music.

That was great! Honestly, the only thing I would have liked to see is the decisions I've made having ramifications down the track. Like if I sign the "gorgus" petition, then the guy that talks about losing his girl to someone with a silly moustache calls her "gorgus", otherwise he says "gorgeous".
I thought this game was really well done. The characters were great and the jokes were pretty funny. The tutorial definitely needs to slow down for slow readers (like me) or allow you to click through yourself. It would be interesting if the choices you make gave you income, or lost you income as time went on. like if you let everyone have a break you'd get a little bit less money every turn from then on
This game reminds me a lot of sort the court. The game was really well done and funny. I also liked the way you implemented corruption.
nice original game the audio felt kind of annoying but overall this game was a piece of art.
Love the humor, overall a great experience. Good art, great sound design. Horse. I felt a bit annoyed in the tutorial not being able to make the text go faster. I was also confused at first why accepting some bribes would make my gold go down. There is also effectively no downside to rejecting every law, as there is no ending for low corruption or low joy, and basically the only upside to signing one is the bribe tally going up. It is very funny that when the laws end the last one gets repeated, got myself a whole kingdom that can't spell "gorgeous".
It is explained in the tutorial that bribe money is separate from the gold meter. Also we didn't have time to implement low corruption and low joy etc. endings due to time constraints.
I liked this! I enjoyed games like "Lapse" and "Reigns" so this was up my alley. The art style is pretty good, as is the audio design. I liked the little jokes scattered throughout the game too.
Only concern is that there would be times when the same person with the same petition would keep coming over and over again until one of the endings triggered. For example, in one playthrough I had the exact same guy ask for more funds for dinosaur research like 10+ times in a row. Not sure if this is a bug or not.
It's unfinished functionality, the game is designed for you to see only one of each law every playthrough, there was supposed to be an ending when you run out of laws but it's unfinished yet, right now the last law you got repeats over and over.
This made me feel powerful!
If you reject every bribe you'll eventually have the entire kingdom coming to you to petition for cabbage licences, seems there is a depth of feeling there.
Really cool game! I really liked the different characters and the art but you could try to experiment more with the mechanics becouse now it plays totally the same as Reigns the mobile game
Pretty interesting and well made I feel. Loved the art +fourth wall horse. (IDK how I feel about the rng volume tho)
Enjoyed the game! i think the tutorial couldve been more accessible like being able to move dialogue when you want not a timer and the sign and veto could be slightly clearer but it was pretty fun :]
