Right away, the photographs and layout caught my eye, and I love the way you did it all. Including references to the photos you used right on the images is amazing, and your layout is so clean despite all the imagery!!! And the photos pair so well with the theme and words of your game.

I LOVE the theme of this. You really capture the setup of the sponsor/company, the brand ambassador, and the customer. I love that this makes fun of all three sides so effectively, and really points out how ridiculous all of this is. I felt agony from some of these because of how I’ve felt on the receiving end of them, both as an employee and as a customer, you really nailed them 🤣

I found the text a little hard to read on my computer for a couple of the talking points, but I feel like that probably wouldn’t have been as bad if I printed it. And I noticed one typo on Nightblade (talking points): “Listen champ, now that renegotiated the savings” should probably have the word “we” or something before “renegotiated.”

But those two things are INCREDIBLY minor issues, and what you made here is absolutely fantastic, SUPER fitting of the theme, and hysterical.

I honestly don’t have a lot to say here because it’s so well pulled off, and the game is hysterical and sooooooo fitting… I definitely do appreciate the included Talking Point and Pain Point “cards” though, as I assumed people would be making these up themselves as I was reading the rules, but you did all of the work!

Thanks for letting me know about the text. As much as I like style, I think legibility and accessibility are just as, if not more important. If I make another go at this, I'll try to balance the visuals with more clarity.

I really hope you do, I love what you've made here! :D

Most of my jobs have been customer service jobs so my goodness is this hilariously (and painfully) relatable.

The layout is nicely done and I like that the prompt lists look like cards that can be cut out and held to refer to during play if you’d like.

I feel like the prompt list headers are a reference I might be missing. Is there anything behind the “vortexcyber” “shield unbound” etc. list headers?

I can answer this! The names on the cards are completely arbitrary. I figured that if this were much more fleshed out, I'd try to have a variety of talking point/pain point decks, and it would be useful if they had names to identify them easily. I just happened to give them silly names.

I can't wait to drag a friend into playing this with me. I read through this after literally coming home from a long customer service shift, and it was both so funny and fittingly painful. I haven't had the chance to play it yet, but I like that each conversation is restricted to 60 seconds; it feels like it will keep the game from being awkward in an un-fun way while allowing for that painful but funny awkwardness of being forced to push through and approach the sale from different angles.

Years of working retail meant this submission had me laughing out loud *and* growling with frustration.  So, well done?

Such a witty laugh-out-loud  game and sooooooo evocative of the moment in a customer service conversation where you realise that the conversation that you're having is going nowhere and also going to last forever , even unto unknowable aeons wherein the stars grow cold :)

I am very impressed with the layout and the wittiness of the writing. I don't think that I, personally, would ever want to play anything even close to retail at all, so forgive me for only reading through and rating based on that and not an actual play session, but I did enjoy reading through it very much.

A fun chaotic narrative cage match style game. Loved the way this was presented and all of the talking/pain points are great. Great work!

I love this game. I read all of the talking points and pain points they are hilarious. I wish I had something mean to say, but I don't. This game is simply a joy.
