The Windows XP style and soundtrack were pretty amusing. The song intro in particular was a fun little surprise, leaving you to wonder if some sound effect is on loop until the beat comes in.
Gameplay on level 1 seemed fine. I had some issues on level 2. When it first loaded up, it sounded like a ton of different sound effects all went off at once, which was pretty painful in the literal sense. The pacing was also really slow. To my knowledge, there was no way for me to shoot upwards to break out of the lower layers. You have to wait a pretty long time for the upper enemies to break through. Getting touched is an instant loss and so you then have to wait all over again. After dying this way a couple of times, I had to throw in the towel and so I didn't really get a chance to experience the later levels.
