I love the color scheme a lot, although one of the fins is a bit too similar to the color of the shallow water. Other than that It's an awesome project!

One of the best games I played in this jam so far! Love it. Visuals are 5*. Everything feels in the same art style and color scheme, that so important and you nailed it.

As a fan of Subnautica I liked the theme. Gameplay was addictive and enjoful. I like how it's one big "world"instead of levels and the deeper regions are like new levels with new enemies. The enemies like Jellyfish or sharks had no sound design sadly. A buzzing sound or a "warm up" sound for the jellyfish can help the player to time the movements better. I like the music, very calming and fitting for the underwater world. The piano pice in the menu feels like a diffrent world and doesn't match the sound world of the level music. I see one of the tracks is coming from Pixabay.

If you like to work further on the game and want an individual composed soundtrack I can help. I'm a video game composer. You can check out some of my work in our Jam entry if you like.

This is personally one of my favorite games on here so far. Please let me know if you expand upon this!

Developer

Wow thank you for the kind words! Will definitely let you know if we expand it.

Such a good game with the art along with the feeling of going deeper into the depths. Hope you expand on this. Great job!

Developer

Thanks very much for the feedback!

I like the art, this mechanic is simple but has a very potencial in the future, I really see a complete game and you maybe could update, adding like new oceans to explore, another dangers to avoid and a lot of things, good job.

Thank you for the feedback!

This might geneuinly be my favorite entry in this game jam. The way you manage to capture the feeling of panic as you watch your bubbles pop one by one is amazing.  Great submisson, 10/10 game.

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad to hear the tension was fun for you!

Relaxing experience! Definitely captured the atmosphere of the deep ocean, and I liked the art and music.

Thank you very much!

You did a really good job with the atmosphere on this one. The song used along with the graphics really sets up a place that is both calming and nerve-wracking, calm enough to allow one to make quick decisions but still nerve-wracking to make things tense and fun.

The game itself is also quite fun! I enjoyed moving around the surface to get the different treasures and the oxygen mechanic really made for a fun challenge. The only thing that can make this experience better is if maybe there was a clearer indication of progression. There is a treasure value that I see on the top-left of the screen, but I guess I was just unsure if this is what is used to keep track of my score in the game. Overall though, I still found this game enjoyable and I especially loved the atmosphere you built with this one.

I appreciate the play and the thoughtful feedback. I totally agree with you on the progression idea. We struggled to come up with a good (and achievable in a game jam) idea for making the treasure rewarding. We didn't consider just making it clear that it's your points. Great suggestion.

Very good setting, and the graphics look very cool

Thanks a lot!

Very well made game! I'm normally not too good with games about ocean diving, but I went through the first two layers. It was very enjoyable

Developer

Great to hear! Nice job making it through the first two.

I've played this for a few minutes and I enjoy it. Nice work.

Enjoyed this a lot, nice work on the atmosphere

Developer

Thanks very much! Taking a constrained color palette helped a lot.

Nice concept! I like your take on the theme =). The visuals are good, the audio is nice, and the whole atmosphere is beautifully transcribed ^^! The gameplay is interesting, and your idea of "risking" is great. Good job!

Developer

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and write your feedback! So many good ideas for taking risk, I'm glad you liked ours!

Excellent visual style and atmosphere. I just felt it was a bit hard to find treasure during the beginning stages of the game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry there was trouble with finding treasure at first. There's some RNG involved in placing treasure around, it was definitely tricky to balance things like that.

Ah, if I knew that I might've tried again.

Nice! I really enjoyed the mood. Made it to the deep and found one biscuit. The world you made is huge. Great job.

Developer

Thanks so much! Great job getting to the deep - I wasn't sure how many people would make it that far. It's hard to know how long to make these somtimes!

Brilliant. One of those reminders how much can be done in such a short time, and how far I myself still got to go as a GameJammer.

The esthetic was brilliant, from the creature design to the player animation to the overall low-light presentation.
Best game I came across for this jam so far by a long shot.
