Description
I can’t quite define the genre of my music (Oopsie), what can I say, time rushes by. This year, I didn’t have a solid plan before I started recording. The ideas just came to me. While walking, commuting, working… It’s been tough, but I’m really proud of how much I’ve improved since last year. :)

So, here's my submission for this year's OST Composing Jam #8

I didn’t have as much time as I wanted to spend on this, and a lot of the tracks ended up a bit rushed. I'm so mad because the names I came up with for the songs are awesome! I'm not calling this a 'Work In Progress' again because I know I'll never finish it.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

A really atmospheric submission. I like how you combined the guitar with piano parts and traditional orchestral elements. You Were Here Too was my favorite track – it has such an intimate and lonely feel.

Man, "Drifting" really carried this OST to new levels! The soundtrack was pretty up until this point, but the (almost overly) dramatic percussion really brings this piece to life.  The call backs here are nice, too and help tie things together. I'd say that the first three tracks are a good album, but the finale makes this an amazing one. Nice job!

I want more info on the storytelling and theme connection!

Right now, all I have to go off of is the track names and vibes. Having info like why you chose specific instruments or styles can really elevate the theming and storytelling beyond just the vibes of an OST.

I'm honestly just really happy to see so many people enjoying this submission! I wasn’t even sure about it when I submitted, it had me on the verge of tears while exporting the project, lol. Anyway, I’ll be checking out each of your projects when I get the chance and leave a nice review just like the awesome ones you left here :)

Drifting is such a cinematic piece . Overall enjoyed the sonic and visual things you provided with the submission. For a work in progress it is a really high quality product so great job on making it.

Drifting was well crafted, with melodic and harmonic interest. I enjoyed those unexpected notes that peeked out of the texture every now and again. Even if you feel likes it is a work in progress, your music music still tells a story, and I thoroughly enjoyed the different places that it took me. You Were Here Too has an intimacy and reassurance that wraps things up nicely.

I enjoyed the tranquility of the project. It resonated in a peaceful place and definitely fit the theme very well. For a 'work in progress' I'd say it was really well done and I enjoyed the experience :)

This is a great selection of compositions. Drifting was by far my favorite. The instrument selections and percussion made for a really unique sound, and the track is beautiful and haunting. The way it crescendos into the string lines and then leaves you with those watery notes at the end felt like it was telling me a story. I think the other tracks with more time could make for a very beautiful mystical sounding OST if you were to lean into the kind of themes your Drifting track.  Thanks for submitting this and allowing us to listen!!!!!

This felt really put together! Liked the percussion in Drifting a lot. I do wish the beginning track was a bit more hooking, but it was cool nonetheless. Keep up the good work

lovely ost!!!! i really enjoyed the percussive work on "drifting" as well as the overall chill vibe consistent throughout most of the soundtrack! the composition for half-light reverie (especially the guitar) felt quite warm, if that makes sense haha
