thanks a lot! I’m glad this project resonated with you that much lol. The VST for the strings is Eastwest Composer Cloud Plus. You pay 60-100 a year and get access to thousands of high quality sounds ranging from orchestral strings to jazz inspired guitars. I really recommend it!

This is a very solid submission from you man. I read your artist message about trying to focus on theming and storytelling for this project since that hasn't been your strong suit, and it really shows! This project feels very intentional and took me on a great ride from start to finish. I'm a simple man so the battle themes were obviously my favorites, but all of the tracks hold up and have good instrumentation throughout. I also like how you had 3 instruments represent each of the characters; it made me appreciate the songs even more when they would mix and match different instruments to represent certain things happening in the story between characters.
omg I love the beginning so much. Reminds me of dark souls/demon souls character creation. Instant save. The journey uses the beginning's motif so well, and the flute is just chef's kiss! The piano work in the journey sounds so soulful, man, I love it so much. THE FORBIDDEN LANDS IS SO FIRE. GOT DRAGONS DOGMA CASSARDIS VIBES FROM THIS SONG WHICH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS EVER IN GAMING. The witch feels so tragic and intentional. Very personal, emotional piece. You've outdone yourself with this one, beepo 5 stars across the board from me.
Congrats on your first-ever submission, man! Your music is really solid; you know how to transition to different sections well, using risers and melodic build-ups. I'd say to try to experiment with different approaches to making a song. I noticed that you liked using a 3/4 waltz for two of the first songs, which is cool if you change how you approach that concept, but it might get repetitive for a submission if you go about it the same way. Playing with tempos and rhythms within that time signature really helps with that. Your mixing wasn't bad at all to me, so all I can do is just give tips I learned in audio engineering class: use buses. if you have a delay or reverb that you want to use for multiple things, use one track for just the reverb and route all your other tracks that you want to have reverb to that track. This helps a lot with making things sound more cohesive and is just an easier workflow compared to putting reverb and delay on each track individually. Also, cross-reference music you like and just try imitating how they pan and mix things. Lastly, use multiband compressors and EQs on your master track. There's one in FL Studio called Maximus that has presets I really like. Try playing around with these tips, and you might find that your music sounds more pleasing to your ears. Keep it up man!
