This is inspired by 50s french music, with genres such as Java and Musette!
The 1 track represents the intro events, presented in a cutscene.
The 2 tracks are for gameplay phases in some areas, and could be looping. In these files, they don't.
The 3 track is the climax.
I used Musescore 4 to compose.

I agree that it reminds me of the professor layton games! the instrumentation and orchestration were really nice, well done!
Taking place during a summer festival is a good setting for the theme but I would like a little more than that such as explanations for instrument choices and whatnot to make the connection even stronger.
The shaker instrument playing the same pattern for the 3 investigations songs can get a little repetitive. Changing it up a little in the song or having it be slightly different for each one would improve the songs IMO since it would help give them each their own identity even more.
Solid soundtrack with some nice variation. Great job!
I love the energy and the melodies are super solid, never knew they had these electronic sounds in France at that time
The DAW (such as it is) isn't really doing the sounds much favor tho, just little things could make it pop a bit better
Good work. The style is there, but you could lean into it more to really sell what you're going for. The instruments could also be arranged to support each other more cohesively. You're definitely on the right track though, and it wouldn't take much more polish to lock it in.
I’m such a fan of using bandoneon and accordion in my compositions, so it makes me really happy to see someone else who’s into them too! I love that you’re experimenting with sounds that aren’t the easiest to work with
