Very lively melodies and countermelodies! I love the fiddle and the whistle fluttering about and playing off of each other. The mix is balanced overall and feels rounded-out as a complete sound-picture. Great job!

Of the submissions I've listened to, this certainly stands out as one of the more unique OSTs. I love it: the music, the effects, the genre, the story concept, and the visuals you included. Super cool all around. Great job!

The new sound (mallet? synth?) at 3:06 is a fun refresh to snap the ear back to attention. Overall the mix is good, and the composition/instrumentation is appropriate throughout. Great job!

I love that each movement has its own characteristic but everything blends well together. The mix is solid. The introspection in the first part of Movement 2 is well-executed and my favorite section of the whole OST. Great job!

Great title track! The opening piano chords, and as the music builds, definitely evoke the 2000s Square Enix sound. That said, the music sounds "safe" and would benefit from more risk-taking. It really gets interesting when the guitar comes in, because it's adding newness.

Thanks for listening!

Thank you for listening! I was definitely leaning more into "Hollywood" Celtic and less historically-accurate Celtic. I appreciate your thoughts and feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!

I love Reaper!

Great feedback, I appreciate it. The instruments I used are VSTs I really haven't touched before, so I was in unfamiliar EQing territory. Definitely something to keep in mind as I go forward! Glad you enjoyed the music overall!

Yes, in "Lingering Memories." I think it may be both how it's written and the way it's played. It drags, partly due to tempo but it also viscerally feels like the player wants to play faster but something aside from the music is holding them back.

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I love the expression you laced into Aria of the Sky! It felt very cloud-like, airy, of the sky and looking up toward it. To Fly Someday... really does cradle the longing to soar high in the sky. Excellent work!

I appreciate your thorough feedback! This was my first time writing Celtic-style music, and I don't often write folk music in general, so this was an experiment on my part. The strange or hard-to-identify instrument is meant to represent the Fey joining in the diegetic music with a supernatural instrument - something that sounds related to an Earthly instrument but certainly isn't.

Thank you for listening and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for listening and taking time to provide your thoughts! Glad you enjoyed it!

Good compositions, solid orchestration. My favorite track is The Painted Tribes. The mix could use a touch more reverb, but otherwise it all sounds good.

Everything blends together well. The only criticism I have is that the opening melody in the violin feels too slow, which slows down the perception of the whole track. It felt like the melody wanted to go a bit faster but was being held back.

Outside of retro games, I'm not typically a fan of chiptune music. This is an exception because it is so well-written for the genre. Superb job!

This sounds right out of an indie game OST, so you should be proud of that! The music feels incomplete because it doesn't have the visuals of the game to go with it. Great job!

Overall great work. The mix is balanced. Compositionally, I was waiting for Sanctuary to swell into a sweeping emotional melody right at the midsection, but... it never happened, even at the end. While it works as a whole, it also sounds too safe. Don't be afraid to make bold decisions!

Each track fits together nicely and intuitively - nothing stands out in a jarring way. There are some moments when the mix feels a bit imbalanced: sections that are too quiet overall, instruments that poke out of the rest of the mix, even some dryness. Otherwise as a whole everything is well-crafted. Great job!

Wonderful work! I love the light tinkling evoking a music box in "Calling Across Time." Great job!

Great job! I love the title track especially! The use of choir throughout was the glue that welded everything together. This is highly "rounded-out."

The intro track is compelling and does a great job of keeping the listener engaged. In the third track at the beginning, the mix sounds too quiet. Otherwise really well done overall!

Um. You nailed it. Especially for only about 6 hours of work time. As far as criticism, the mix sounded muddied in some spots between the vocals and the accompaniment. But considering the brief time spent on the whole song, the mix overall is really well done.

Great atmosphere created in this OST. As others have said, the expression and the dynamics are too static, and the music would benefit from increasing that range. Otherwise great work!

It's always a treat when jazzy OSTs come up in my rating sessions, and this OST is no exception. It was a wonderful and fun surprise when the trumpet entered in Foggy Black Market. I do think the title track being pastoral when the other tracks are far more jazzy creates a disconnect in the whole cohesion, but the tracks themselves are good!

Good melody-writing! Each track is well-constructed, and overall everything fits into a complete picture. There are moments (ex: the middle section of "A Legendary Song") when the mix feels dry and/or the accompaniment is pushed too far back. Otherwise great job!

Really nice OST. Definitely fits an narrative RPG-style game. Overall cohesive sound too. Good job!

Thank you for playing and I'm glad you like it! The guards are permissive until they're not. :p The idea is that the town doesn't know you're a witch, they don't know about the spirits, and they don't know you're protecting them from those spirits. A town full of NPCs!

I love this! It sounds fun and it sounds like you had fun creating it! Great job!

The music goes perfectly with the cover art, and both work to create the dark mood you're conveying. The only thing I can offer is that the solo violin sounds too "out of the box" and could use some EQ, effects, or both to mask its VST quality. Great job overall!

Wonderful OST! The quality is top-notch. I like the blend of genres.

The introductory track does well in hooking the listener, and really leans into the puzzle/investigator genres (Professor Layton). It's certainly the strongest track of the three, in my opinion, though the other two do well to develop the tone of the story/game. Great job!

This evokes the melancholy in Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. Great job. The only feedback I have is that the really high notes in the last half of the piece are too punchy.

Good job overall. The mix is out of balance; some instruments/melodies are too present compared to the accompaniment. The compositions themselves are good.

Wonderful job with these! They remind me heavily of Joe Hisaishi's music and the Dragon Quest OSTs.

High quality, as expected! I love the variety of melodies, orchestration, pacing, and emotions you sewed into this musical tapestry. It has the sound and feel of a released contemporary RPG. Great work!

I like the change from ambient to electronic between the two tracks. It really doubles down on the feel of the story you're telling through the music. In the first track, the drums could be woven into the mix a bit more. The snare especially stands out from the rest - it sounds dry compared to everything else. Otherwise great job!

Good job overall. The mix is on the quiet side and could be raised overall to be more present.
