Very easy to get lost in the game trying to survive the longest. The strategy of taking more and more fireflies is crazy!)

Can you add a score counter, cause sometimes I feel like I've done more in my current run than in this one?

Absolutely adore the movement system in this, fun set of upgrades, and limitation clearly incorporated. It was a bit unclear in the game how the double-or-nothing button worked, but it was clear from the description.
The map gets pretty crowded in not much time, especially with the bear traps which ultimately ended up getting me. This probably would have been solved with a larger map, as some folks have mentioned.

I liked the graphics, especially the cute slime character! Its bouncy animations were really cute. I also think the upgrade system was fun and adding the double or nothing limitation to it was interesting! I agree with others that it was a little difficult to hit the shift button for dash. Great work!

I really enjoyed this! Reminds me of Joust, but with only the pterodactyl!

Enjoyed the art especially, the fly ... mosquito  ... monster? Unfortunately my game ended with a bug when I dashed out of bounds of the window. I couldn't really tell what the downsides of double or nothing would be, or if they were just the normal ramp in difficulty?

Great work!

Basically when you pick the double or nothing option you have to manage to survive till the next level up to get rewarded with double the upgrade, if you don't you get nothing since you loose the game. Like another comment said we don't have many indicators on when you get the upgrades so many people get confused. Thanks for playing and rating our game!

Had a bit of trouble with the controls (I generally prefer platformers to split the movement hand from the actions hand), but gameplay felt pretty good.

The double or nothing mechanic was interesting, though it took me a bit to figure it out, mostly because there's no indication that you've now gotten the doubled upgrade -- having some kind of message would probably be good for that. I ended up mostly avoiding the speed and jump height upgrades, since they seemed to be a bit detrimental, in that it makes it a bit harder to navigate between all the obstacles as things progress.

The shield seemed good, but I couldn't figure out where it showed how many shields I had left, so it was hard to keep track. I.e. a lot of my gripes are feedback/information that's missing. Otherwise, quite fun, and cute art!

Ok this is awesome. The controls feel great and each upgrade feels powerful but the difficulty scales appropriately. This is the kind of game I love to play. Great work!

This game is a blast! It gets really difficult really fast, so I'm always tempted to take the double-or-nothing option.

I like the upgrades. The movement was interesting but fun. I liked the fact I got too see how much time I survived for. Something to Improve on I would probably say the map size. A little small but overall a fun short game to play!

Very interesting game with a fun concept. The controls could use work, it's very cumbersome to use wasd for movement and shift for dashing, especially when going back to the game after selecting an upgrade. It would be better if you could select upgrades with wasd and take/double with shift, that would make the controls easier as you could keep hands on keyboard, and maybe multiple control schemes at the same time, like arrows and space, to give choice.

Overall very enjoyable, and there may be potential for a full game.
