Pretty cool concept pairing the difficulty in predicting the balls angle off a bounce with a life system that decreases every time you bounce, it made for some interesting gameplay. The shape of a pentagon was a good use case giving you enough angles to choose from but not infinite choices. Unfortunately I found the control scheme really difficult to get used to and the overall spininess of the pentagon to be somewhat unresponsive, and was only able to reach a high score of 20. I wonder if simply using A and D keys to rotate the pentagon would have worked out better.
The sound design is excellent and every sound used pairs well with the others, the clink of the ball goes superbly with the eerie ambient music in the background. 5/5 for audio for me. The visuals are adequate and there's some nice bit of polish with the ball trail and shadows on the edge of the screen, but wasn't anything that got me super excited. Overall, I think this was a fun arcade high score experience with some of the best sound work in the jam and could be brought to the next level with some more responsive controls. Nice entry!!
