I feel like it haven't see much of the game, I only had one area unlock and then I was blocked with no more ennemy :( But cute game, I would have like to be a bit more zoomed to better see the arts and ennemies

Menu:
I love the menu — the popping-out buttons and the picture look amazing.
Graphics:
The hand-drawn, cartoonish style is very appealing. It gives the game a lot of personality.
Sound:
All the sounds and music fit together really well and feel like they’re in the right place.
Gameplay:
The controls feel smooth, which I appreciate.
However, I was a bit confused about how to expand into new areas.
I managed to unlock only the area at the top.
When I tried to move to the right, the fog never cleared.
After I cleared all the mobs in the area I had unlocked, the game sent me to the Game Over screen, even though I could still see enemies in the fogged area on the right.
Is there a way to get there that I’m missing?
Overall:
The game feels good and is fun to play.
Great work — I’m looking forward to exploring more once I figure out how to open new areas!
I got the same issues as everyone else. Play area not growing, settings not working, music not looping, footsteps too loud.
It looks neat though.
Cool game, I especially liked the art and the animations! I did encounter some issues though: I could not open the settings menus, I had trouble hitting enemies from the side, and I feel like sometimes the play area would not expand.
(I was on Firefox like the previous commenter, so it might be part of the issue!)
But I think there's a solid base, nice work everyone!
The game felt pretty solid to play, and on paper the premise seemed pretty great.
However, it seemed like the game didn't really work as intended on my system (Firefox).
- The settings button didn't seem to work
- The Zoom of the screen would change the limits of vision (initially tried at default zoom levels)
- The walls that limit the play area didn't seem to move, and enemies were trapped behind it, but were shootable.

If I get a chance, I'll revisit this on a different browser offstream, as my experience seems wildly different to everyone else's here.
Fun game! And I'm a sucker for mushroom themes~ One thing is that I found the walking noise to get a bit intense after a while, but when trying to access settings in the browser version the button was unresponsive so heads up on a potential bug there! If you continue working on the game I think it'd also be nice if the camera was zoomed in a bit more at least at the start so players can see the character sprites more easily. Great job with this!
Really cute! Art and animations really brought the vibe! I enjoyed the combat - felt really satisfying to nail a shot while moving and at a long distance!
I did encounter a couple of bugs, one which locked me walking after I took damage which was an odd one
Overall a fun experience - nicely done!
Very clever interpretation of the theme, very Stanley Parable vibes! May have spent too long doing fake spreadsheets for fake money instead of doing my actual day job for real money.
I hope you don't mind some critical feedback but I think there are a few things that could make this experience more enjoyable. Easiest one would be to ensure the BGM continues. Keep it on loop on a dedicated audioStreamPlayer. The footsteps were kind of rough. You could get away with using one foot step sound and pitch shifting it each time. Preload the audio so the game doesn't stutter on the first shot. Attach some distance variable or timer to the projectile to remove them so they don't continue on forever. I can clear the whole game without walking. I like the expanding play area idea. I get deadlines are rough. Keep at it and you'll get there. Good work.
Super charming little game. The art and animations are lovely and the style has loads of personality. I really liked the visual touches like the death effects and the way the characters move around. It all comes together really well visually.
I did find the shooting a bit inconsistent at times and the footsteps started to wear on me after a while. A bit of ambience or soft background music would help balance that out. Still, the core loop is fun and the way the void slowly creeps in is a nice touch. Feels like a solid foundation that could really shine with a bit more enemy variety and tuning.
Great job to the whole team. Hope you keep working on it.
Cute game!
I think it would be way more engaging if you had a smaller cooldown to shoot and more enemies!
Also the Footsteps sound made me go insane! Pls add some Background Music or Ambience so the player hears something else and not just that ever repeating sound.
The graphics and animation were really nice, I like them quite a bit!
(Btw the Master Audio I think was set to 100% initially even though the settings said 2%, changed after I adjusted the slider, but on the start it was LOUD)
In summary, cute game!
thankyou for playing our game! I had a fun time animating the sprites so thankyou for noticing the small animations :D We had a harder time playtesting due to all of us having less time in general :') so that may have affected the overall gameplay .
Thankyou again for playing and giving the pointers
I like that the game is really simple. I'm too bad to live more than a minute, so I don't see much of the expansion. :'(
Fun game! I think having enemies manually placed and only having two types hurts the game a little bit, but I love how you guys implemented the expansion thematic! Had a good time! :)
Love this art style! The sound effects are nice although I'd maybe lower the volume on the footstep sounds, Great work!
