You've got some great things going here!  I agree with the last comment though--a few of those little details would add a lot to the game.  Great story elements.  Nice work!

A great puzzle platformer, though it was hard to enjoy without music. I think adding music and a walking animation to the cat can go a long way.
Maybe think about making a post-jam version for them?

Developer

Yeah this was something we unfortunately couldn't come around to due to time constraints, but my co-dev has already set in stone that he wants a post jam version, so you can look forward to that! (might also recruit another more proper musician besides myself for it when that happens!)

I really enjoyed the puzzles! I had fun feeling smart when I was able to interact with the signs to reset the puzzles to solve them when I was part way through the puzzles

I really like the Game Boy feeling and the art style too. It would be nice to have a few sounds matching the actions and some more varied music (though I’m probably the last one who should talk about that ;-)). A few animations would also be great, like the player and NPCs moving when they walk. Otherwise, great game!

A fun, simple game. The reset sign being used for the puzzles makes for a fun trick, and gave a lot of the puzzles extra depth. Though I think many of them were a little too easy. I wasn't a huge fan of the final challenge, since it was a big area out in the open and the crows were seemingly turning randomly (plus their detection seemed a little weird).

This note's relatively minor, as I don't think it's too obtuse or anything, but it'd be nice if there was a story reason for the logs being cleared up to connect with reaching the crows.

Overall, I had fun with it. I like that the game confirms that you don't need to return to puzzle areas after getting the items, nothing in the main progression was confusing or frustrating, and the art is charming. Well done. I do wish a GB rom was included as I would've enjoyed playing this on my SP.

Had a few cheese you could do and a few bugs, but other wise the art style was great and I liked how you did the rock puzzles. A nice little romp.

Cool little game, the art style was really cute lookin'. However we did find a soft lock bug. There was a hidden sign below where we are standing in this picture, upon clicking it the rock moved right on top of us, trapping us. In general though, moving stuff then using the sign to reset objects but not the player was a really cool mechanic.

Dang, talk about an unlucky find, thanks for pointing it out tho, for it is certainly an interesting one to note, and thank you for enjoying the game regardless :)

Ah, a chill and cute game! I loved the small twist for the sokoban puzzles. There are a few bugs here and there, mostly triggers that should have been deactivated I think. It lacks a bit of animations and it’s a shame there were audio at all, but it’s very cute and enjoyable otherwise

Great work!!

That was pleasant! The character art and writing is cute. I'm happy to see the cat friends reunited!

It took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to realize part of the sokoban solutions was intentionally using the reset signs on the opposite side. Very clever!

Good work!

Loved the story,  the storytelling is really good favorite game from this jam thus far

Thank you! That is actually such an honour to hear because your game has literally been one of my favourites so far (especially in the art)

The pun humor is *chefs kiss*, it also took me WAY too long to finish the 2nd puzzle (skill issue lol). I did also get stuck in the geometry on the 4th boulder puzzle, along the bottom there was an invisible wall. I thought I disliked pushing puzzles, but I always try to lock in and solve em! lol.

Our programmer (who did all the writing) certainly didn't miss with his puns, and yeah we tried avoid any wall clips and such, but it seems at least one slipped through
