Game Description
A simple game where you merge leaves and then rake them into a hole to feed the Goo!
How does your game tie into the theme?
The goo "expands" as do the leaves when you merge them.

Interesting entry, I like why you design raking leafs!
For sure I recommend enable fullscreen mode in itch.io settings, that will help to better see art of the game
To improve I would add some way of puzzle, challange when you rake.
Good job and congratulations for your submission!
good entry and a very interesting take on the theme. I would like to more of this game as it develops
Interesting game. I'm curious to see the monster grow but the raking mechanic was a bit much for my wrist to handle. Though I'd keep going if there were a promise of a leaf blower upgrade or something. The monster looks like a pretty chill guy though. Like his style. Nicely done.
Our original idea was to automate the leaves with conveyor belts and merging machines but I could not figure out how to make a conveyor belt for the life of me :')) The leaf blower upgrade is a good idea! Thank you for checking the game out.
As mentioned before, a fullscreen button would've been great since I felt like I had to get close and the greens mixing with each other would mess with my mild colourblindness. Other than that, I think it's a cute little game and is an interesting take on the theme :)
I think changing up the color of the goo or allowing full screen could really help since I started to get a bit of a headache from trying to look at the green goo on green leaves! Cute game :)
This is such a bizarre but interesting concept for a game. I think it could really work in 3D. Just have a pit in the ground that you gotta chuck stuff in to feed the ooze. I could see people having fun with it as a $5 “you’re in a weird situation doing a menial task” type game.
I’m just really charmed by the bizarreness of the idea.
I enjoyed merging the leaves and feeding the monster! I found a good technique was swirling the mouse one way and then reversing the direction to merge a bunch of leaves. I wanted to find out how big I could make the goo but my hand got tired. Maybe if the rake was stronger or I could hold down the mouse and attract leaves that would help. I also liked the leaf man as the final tier of leaf, that was a fun surprise. Sometimes the size of the leaves got in the way too, for instance I had two big leaves almost touching, but a few small leaves in the way meant I couldn’t quite merge them. Fun game!
