Very cool puzzle; I like the idea of seeing through the cameras to figure out weak spots; I second the idea of having more levels with progressing mechanics to really exploit the concept and mechanics.
Thanks for taking the time to play my game! I will probably take some more time to actually finish this game as I would like to see it in its finished version with more levels :)
I wish this game was longer. It has a lot of potential as a cool puzzle game with different egg types and camera weaknesses. Nice job!
Thanks Samuel! Yeah I agree, unfortunately I ran out of time to add more levels though
Yeah, I understand the time issues. If you have some time after the jam's over I think you could expand on the game and it could be something great.
In the meantime, if you'd like to try out my game I would greatly appreciate it.
I am making sure that I play and rate every game in this jam as far as I can, unfortunately I am on a mac, so I am mostly limited to browser games :/
Oh, I see. I tried to make a browser version as well but the resolution wasn't working properly so I gave up and uploaded only the .exe one
I kept triggering the alarm because I was confused which fake eggs to use wherever the camera is. I did pass both levels though after a few tries. I did use the camera scan ability but I felt I misunderstood the entire thing and triggered the alarm anyway.
Thanks for playing my game! The confusion is something that a couple of people mentioned, so you're not alone in this one. Next time I will focus on making them a bit more easy to understand :)
Thoughts while playing:
1. Nice title, I get the idea :)
2. Woah that's a lot of text that I have no reference for and am finding hard to comprehend. I'll see if I can figure it out while playing. Ok those are the controls.
3. Level 1: This is a really novel idea! I love the camera view AND the swap view where you can imagine your block swapping them out. Highlight is obvious. This one seems to work. Escape to exit seems to un-fullscreen WebGL mode whoops. TAB in swap mode doesn't seem to pull it up camera view either, awkward.
4. Level 2: Hmm I'm not sure why this egg worked. Maybe other cameras could also see and I'd have to find an overlap of what egg they can't see? (Art Gallery problem, anyone?) No, doesn't seem like that. I don't see a pattern on any of these eggs but the camera says pattern-blind... I wish there was a replay button so I can figure it out... Ah! It's obvious in hindsight but each egg has little label tags. I wish those where closer together for a quick comparison.
5. Oh that's it? Darn I wanted to see more! I could see some really cool puzzles and ideas like cameras moving or temporarily swapping two real eggs until something was solved, adding more combinations of which you swap first. As a side note, the play again button doesn't seem to work.
Awesome idea and really good execution, the ideas were quite clear and the mechanics work really well. I can easily see a compelling puzzle game out of this. Eggciting! So innovative
Thanks for this thorough review! Yeah, I added the text in the beginning because I got feedback that my friends didn't understand what was going on and I was running out of time, but I see your point.
For the patterns, I originally planned to actually make some 3D models for different kinds of eggs, matching the properties displayed on screen, however, I ran out of time unfortunately, glad you still figured it out though!
I will see if I take some more time and make this into a full game, thanks again for playing :)
Really great concept, I appreciate that you went a different route from most, including myself. Great work!
Thanks for playing Narexa :)
Nice 3d entry, but it took a really long time to load for me for some reason. The camera idea was creative, and pulling off the heist felt satisfying.
Thank you for taking the time to play my game :)
Fun little game. I found it a bit frustrating trying to work out the second level at first. But when I got there it was quite enjoyable
Thanks for playing my game! Yeah, it definitely needs some more polishing, I agree.
Haha given you made it for a 3 day jam it was amazing
Really enjoyed the heist and swapping was very creative! Great entry.
Tahnks for taking the time to play my game Jon :)
is an amazing concept, i had some issues with the controls and i think i broke the camera, beside that i think is an amazing concept and could do for a nice and fun game
What did the poor camera ever do to you for you to just break it? :/ Thanks for playing my game!
Incredible and creative concept. Seeing from camera's pov added a special touch. I even tried to block it's vision in first level. Had a quite fun playing.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for my playing my game :) Unfortunately I cannot try yours though, since I only have a mac :/
Pretty good idea, it implements the theme and object perfectly, and it's also pretty fun. I am however missing sounds, I think it would add to the game, for example a ding sound when you successfully steal an egg and an alarm sound (not too intrusive though) when you get caught.
Yeah I totally agree with that, unfortunately I ran out of time before I could add sounds and music though. Appreciate you taking the time to play my game :)
Interesting idea but time pressure kinda made me just brute-force the eggs instead of figuring out weaknesses, lol.
Haha yeah now that I think of it, I am not even sure why I added the timer... But thanks for the feedback!
I got caught a couple of times before I figured out how to do it, great integration of cheap copy and special object
This is my game instead if you want to try it: EggHeadz

Thanks a lot! Will check definitely check it out!
Fun and Interesting idea could see this being expanded into a full game with larger more fleshed out environments and other obsactes to avoid and different ways beyond just the directly from the cameras to get the hints.
Hey Lukas, thanks for playing my game! Yeah funny enough I even had an idea about a boss fight haha, but I ran out of time
Thanks for playing the game! Yeah, it could be a bit difficult to understand the way I set it up haha
