Honestly quite a cute little incremental game! I am a bit unsure on what the research lab does personally since I placed it and it never really seemed to do much and I ended up getting soft locked towards the end but other than that it was a cute little game :)
Thanks for playing ! Research lab is used to buy upgrades by clicking on it. I realize I forgot to mention you have to click on it ^^'
Well now I feel like an idiot for not thinking of clicking it LMAO, I guess that's what I get for playing it at 2am
Neat idea. I think it could use a little tuning with the amount of resources you get per tree, plus the relative cost increase per tile; but it was fun.
Thanks for playing and for your feedback :) it's not very well-balanced indeed
wow, cool game! The balancing is pretty well done here imho, the combination of random tiles with an increasable amount and the goal of reaching specific positions is a nice game design element. It feels a bit like both trees have the same purpose, only with separate progression?
Thank you :-)
In my mind, at least what I wanted is baby oak is more mid-game tree as it gives you leaf + wood, it allows you earn leef to plant big oak and earn wood to get first upgrades. The big oak is more late game when you need lot of wood to buy all upgrades
Nooo! I was doing so well and I accidentally soft locked! Haha that's a shame!
Hey, up until then i was enjoying it! Neat little incremental game, artwork was nice and i liked the backing music a lot. Nice work
Outch =D thanks for playing et feedback :)
Owh wow ! I'm even surprised that it didn't crashed before lol
Thanks for feedback, animals are planned and was on scope before reality remind me that days are only 24h lol but yeah it's planned also with different type of terrain and different type of trees too.
And... congrats to your laptop lol
yeah im proud it survived hahah! n that sounds really cool ! :0 diff terrains would be very nice. glad finish your game game jams exist!
Really nice idea indeed I didn't though of that !
haha well maybe see ya in the next improve my game jam :)
This is a nice, chill game, fitting very well to the theme! I especially enjoyed the audio and the leaf particle effects, which are great for the cozy autumn feel!
It was also great fun to upgrade everything to the point where the numbers stretched across the whole screen!
Well done!
Thanks for givinga try, yep, numbers going crazy is the idle game drug =')
I really enjoy idle games, and this one was no exception. I like the idea of planting trees to grow an ever-expanding forest. Chill music as well. I did feel like I lacked control a little bit, as I couldn’t impact what tiles became available; maybe if two tiles became available each time you planted then there would be a little choice in what direction you want to go. I didn’t plant more than one large trees for a long time, as they didn’t contribute before I had the research building (which I kind of forgot about in my focus on getting to the pumpkins fast xD)
Good job!
Thanks for the feedback, really useful :)
You can buy a "+1 terrain tile" in the research building but maybe it's better to have 2 tiles available at the begining indeed.
Yup the research lab is quite useful and as game is not very well balanced, putting research lab the sooner than upgrading 3 times number of terrain tiles then improve plant tree become almost a "god mode" haha
Super charming little builder! Loved the slow, tile-by-tile progression. Gives a nice sense of growth without ever rushing you. The minimal UI is clean and works great alongside the isometric layout, and the colours are easy on the eyes.
Would’ve been nice to hear some ambient sound or light SFX to help sell the calm, natural vibe! Audio can really lift games like this. Still, solid and relaxing all the way through.
Thanks for playing and for your feedback ! Juice and audio clearly need to be improve indeed, lack of time tell me "go something playable first" lol
Nahhh it’s very minor if that! It’s just that as the guy who ONLY does the audio, I’m gonna have to mention it lmao. If you’re wondering what it’s like to have someone solely dedicated to the sound for a jam, come give us a visit sometime! If you do, the credit for literally everything else goes to the dev lol 😂
Très chill! Simple et efficace :)
Merci :-)
I like this concept for an idler but not having any control or options over where to place things is frustrating. Even if the tiles to pick from were random, I'd feel like I had a better sense of influence. Good work though. Looks and sounds great. Very cohesive in the execution.
Thanks for feedback and giving it a try ! :-)
Under the hood, it's not totally random, the available tiles are calculated with a weight, to reach the nearest pumpkin. But indeed it could be great to add natively or via the shop an option to tell the game "i would like to go that way, I take note !
I liked your take on the theme. I thought it was fun to have more of a visual indicator with an incremental game. I did notice when going into the settings you can’t get back. The close button didn’t seem to do anything so I had to refresh the page. Then I got stuck when the light green square went off the screen and I couldn’t move the camera. I primarily use a laptop with a trackpad so middle mouse click and move is trickier for me. Would be fun to add a story for why you want to get to 5 pumpkins. Pumpkin pie :)
Yup don't know why settings are bugged :-( sorry for that and for trackpad ^^' next time I will add keyboard combo like space + right click or something. Nice constructive feedback thank you
