This felt like a really great entry!  I feel like I could get lost in just dropping shape after shape into the pile. I love how cute everything looks and sounds.  Great job!

A few observations:

1. Pressing and holding to drop the current shape is a little awkward.   Waiting for the next instance of movement before it drops is odd, it's more intuitive if the movement happens immediately.  Also, if the player continues to hold the down key it applies to the next shape, which isn't really expected.
2. Rotating near the edge of the screen can sometimes not work if there isn't enough room to pivot the shape.  An additional check if the shape can be moved over and then rotated would be nice.

This was one of those games that were REALLY easy to pick up straight away and keep playing, really satisfying to play and really cute too. The characters were adorable and I almost felt bad making them basically explode LMAO. The core loop is really refined but I think after a while it felt a little *too* easy and I would've liked it if the corruption posed more of a threat to the player!

Overall, really solid submission!!

Easy to understand and adorable to play. Become very easy and could benefit from some gameplay variations, but the core is here and already fun!

Well that's just the most adorable game. It'd be nice if the game piece paused dropping while a combo was happening though.

Really liked the tetris/connect 4 combo thought it worked really well! I did manage to find a “cheat” by isolating the first corrupted guy and then didn’t have to worry about the corruption for the rest of the run

Other than the lack of a “go down to the bottom now please” button I thought this was really solid and a great experience. Nice one!

This is fun! Reminds me of Mean Bean Machine, the sound effects are really cute! Well Done :D 

Big fan of puyo puyo tetris and liked the facial expressions the sprites had. I'm used to pressing up to have the blocks drop at an instant so the gameplay felt slowed down by waiting for the blocks to fall but still enjoyed playing! In one of my playthroughs I got lucky and was able to have all the corrupted blocks spaced away from the rest of the blocks which stopped the corruption from being able to spread :D

Loved this! Such a cheerful, bouncy vibe throughout. The slimes have loads of charm, and the animations are spot on. Palette’s vibrant without harshness and the faces are full of personality :)

Wouldn’t have minded some playful sound design to match the visuals though! Squishy pops or giggles would have been super cute in this. But even as is, it feels polished and inviting!

got aound 10k and had to purposely lose. the corruption gave a good challenge to the tetris/puyopuyo formula and the blobs for the blocks are cute ! also im very bad at tetris/puyopuyo

I’ll be honest I did not read the tutorial at first and imagine my shock and horror when I lined up a perfect Tetris only to see none of the blobs clear. Really fun to see a massive combo pop off once you play the game properly though!
