Neat! Not particularly polished, but competent (with the exception of whatever bug causes the bottom-most row to not clear sometimes). Good work. Congratulations on the submission!

How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
It doesn't really. I made this jam as a way to challenge myself to finish a game in a weekend.

As someone who likes tetris this... is an underwhelming clone. The piece generation definitely matches the bad luck of the jam though it can be particularly frustrating to get 4 of the same block in a row. It is why most tetris games use more then a raw RNG roll. Also features like piece spins (T-spins in specific) are something I very much love that aren't here. I also wish I can rotate pieces on the starting area. The game looks nice though!
Its a tetris game alright. Is the first line not supposed to clear? Everything else worked as intended.
It's Tetris! Feels good to play once you get the browser zoomed properly.
Glad to see THE Game Boy classic here! Yeah, it doesn’t fit the theme (if you don’t count how unlucky I was in my plays :P), but for what it is, it’s great. I also like to test myself by cloning classics. It’s a lot of fun, and you can try to reimplement very specific mechanics to mimic the real feeling.
Hey, another double-jam entry! Surprised more people didn't try to combine this jam with the falling block one, given that Tetris is such a staple of the Game Boy. This was a fun clone! I did run into a few bugs, like lines not clearing sometimes (the bottom line in particular would get stuck often), but other than that this seems pretty faithful to the original. Keep it up!
I like the colors, a nice Tetris. After zooming out a bit I was able to see the whole screen — maybe you could adjust the screen size for displaying on itch.io.
