thank you sooo much for the kind words <3 this was my first time taking part in a game jam so it was very much a big learning experience!! these failures are definitely gonna be very helpful in the long run

Ah, I know the feeling of not managing to finish the game in time for the game jam. Nut hey, maybe you can finish it later!

Developer

Did a live react with feedback, unfortunately you didn't get to finish the game- still good you uploaded something! <3

I'd suggest fleshing out the Itch page a bit more (this is possible even during ratings)- tell about the vision of project.

hello! i want to thank you so much for such indepth feedback, regardless of how incomplete the game was!

i want to confirm that yes i did have a very interesting puzzle mechanism for this game, but was not able to execute it in the given time with my experience with game jams.

this was my first game jam i ever submitted a game on, and so my flow was definitely not upto the mark (and on top of that, i used javascript for the first time on this very project, so the learning the new language was included in this time limit)

i have planned to finish this game (with the scope of the idea i had in my head for this game) by this or next week, and would be keen to see your response on the finished and polished idea once ive taken my time to make it

i am very grateful for such honest critiques (even down to the bit about the colors of the itch io page, i really appreciate such details <33) and have taken a lot from this feedback to use in future projects. thank you very much for your time!!

Even though it isn't totally done, there was clearly a good bit of time and thought put into this! With more experience now you can improve for the next game jam you take part in, cool stuff!

Developer

thank you so much for taking the time to check out my unfinished game. i had a really interesting mechanic for this game, but this was my first game jam, so i couldnt implement and communicate the gameloop in the game properly with the given time..

however, i will be finishing this unfinished idea ASAP, and would love to see your response on it after i have finished it with the original scope i had for this game.

thank you <3

(p.s - your game looks amazing!!!)
