Crowdfunding Pitch
🦴 KnitBone is a story-driven psychological horror visual novel, where the therapist is more traumatized than the patient.
You play as Eden Cross, who suffers from chronic insomnia, feeling disconnected from your life. One day, an old college acquaintance – Ryohei shows up pitching a miracle cure for your insomnia: an “experimental therapy.”
That sounds suspiciously more like what he also calls it ... a “guided ritual.”
Warning: Side effects of this treatment may include needing a whole new therapist.
Features:
- Endings: 2 main endings + 1 mini endings
- Estimated playtime: (7k+ words) 30-50 minutes
- Gameplay: Interactive therapy “sessions” with dialogue choices and minigames + personality test

I'm a sucker for pixel art games, and I absolutely adore the colors used as well! Visually very stunning. I loved the story as well, very interesting and captivating! Overall I think it was a really well crafted game! 🩷
Thanks for the feedback! Our artist and writer did an amazing job.
Oh hey, another cult game! I really liked this - the pixel art and music set a really good tone for it, and the cinematography was really well done; the whole thing managed to sell its atmosphere spectacularly. I really liked the initial questioning and roleplay section - it felt like a lot of thought had been put into it, and one of the presented answers usually matched something that I would have answered in real life. The candle puzzle was also really fun, even if I started out trying to go tallest-to-shortest and felt like it couldn't be beaten for a bit (my bad!)
What I really like, however, was the... entity that was associated with the cult. I liked that we didn't really find out too much about it, and that it was possible to accept it; I'm glad that we were given that option. Overall, I had a really good time with this; great job!
Thanks so much for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the art, music, and sections. The candle puzzle is randomly generated so you may have gotten a really hard one.
The pixel art was very fun and refreshing, I LOVED it so much- makes me want to try my hand at pixel art sometime it looked so good :0
Loved the sound effects in the game they all set a tone and atmosphere and helped make the game feel super polished and snappy (not sure if snappy is the right word in this context? Clean is the only substitute I can think of lol).
The character designs were great, I love characters with white hair :)
Great job on this game :D <3
Thanks! Our artist and composer did a great job. If you do make some pixel art, do share! I'd love to check it out.

Someone is deleting my comments now? This is wild! I just came back to say thanks for the advice, and say that I'm not going to pursue further and find my comments deleted. Wow! Thanks for your kindness, remarkable.
Very captivating game, the story is pretty well-ironed out as well, good use of sound to set the atmosphere. Those jumpscares really got me good :<. Things are also very well animated for the characters (I kinda enjoy the small pixel art animations here and there), which keep things a bit more lively than just images. The story was interesting too, though I do wish a bit more epilogue to see what happens to the characters after the game would be neat as well, though as is, it is great already.
There was that one personality test segment with the time countdown that starts with the dialogue (which I didn't really have time to read the answers) I think it does not fit, might be better to:
1. remove the time countdown entirely so they player stays in their comfort zone
2. or have it play after the running dialogue finished
Thanks for the feedback! I removed the countdown timer.
Super intense, in a really impressive way! You did a great job capturing feelings of psychological distress and panic, and crafted a really compelling dynamic between the two characters. The minigame elements worked will with the narrative, and were unsettling in a way that did well to further the story. Also great use of the more minamalist styled graphic and sound design, it was all incredibly effective.
Great job, & congrats to the whole team!!
Thanks for the detailed feedback!
The music fits so well! Really sets the vibe and got me immersed in the story. I wasn't the biggest fan of the plot itself, but the character art was fantastic.
Thanks a lot!
Cool atmosphere, especially with the music. Really liked some of the art, especially Eden :3
Thanks for the review! Our artist and composer did an awesome job.
Oh man I really loved the atmosphere and story-telling and pace of this. The art I really liked too, the style, the characters were fun and felt grounded, and the tension felt awesome. The jumpscares definitely got me, but I was kind of like. OH THAT MAKES SENSE. NODS NODS!
I got invested in the scenario and story, and had a lot of fun reading this from beginning to end and really enjoyed it!!
Thanks for enjoying it!
This is so nicely done! I have to admit that I almost crawl under the table when the first jump scare happened... Man I was not prepared I thought I was doing a personality test....
Haha even I got jumpscared while playtesting. Thanks for playing!
Oh no. I have insomnia too
I hope after playing this game, you can sleep soundly 🥹
Really intriguing! The game is top-notch, the atmosphere pulls you in and won’t let go.
Thanks for playing!
