It was adorable >.< It lacks some refiment for hitboxes and controllers, but it was fun experience. Good job!

Good game, the hit boxes could be improved and reseting a level after each death is too difficult, you could reset the game after all lives are exhausted. The music and visuals are awesome. The monsters are soooo cute.

The controls could use some refinement. A good 2D platformer character controller is really hard to make so props for doing it anyway!

Nice style, simple controls, would suggest implementation of hold jump longer to jump higher

Run animation activates after a couple seconds/or at a certain speed, is that intentional?

Died because some ledges are too high, and the collision box gets you stuck, was that because you wanted coyote time? I'd look into doing coyote time differently

I started the jam too late and ran out of time so many things need refinement. Thanks for the feedback

Good job, looking forward to seeing how it goes

Very clear how to play, I really liked the style! Collisions are the main point of improvement i would suggest

Good starting point. Recommend looking into collisions as it seemed like the player could get stuck on some of the edges of platforms. Also try playing around with the jump strength and how to make jumps feel more smooth. The singular jump force can feel jarring and make it a bit harder for players to control their movements. Once again I say good starting point, cute and simple!

It froze a few times for me, but it's a good starting point to tweak and build from.

Easy to understand and play! Nice design and artwork.
