Unique management sim! Having to manage your own resources and relationships with other countries towards your end goal, perfect.
I'm not sure what the "input key" is- I might've missed something. I couldn't continue after
But hey, good job!

Thank you for your feedbacks !

Ah oups, my bad, I didn't realize it was unclear ! You just need to press enter at this moment.

Unique entry. But feels like some pieces are missing to make it truly fun.

I have played quite a lot of these text adventure/menu interaction games in the past, so I do enjoy the narrative here, but I would love to see all the different elements be explained a bit further and let the players know what they influence. The consequences of your actions are also not explained, which is fine to experiment with, but I also thought the margin for the "wrong choice" was also quite thin as well, so it felt a bit frustrating.

I would more sound effects and juices in the game. The week end sound was a bit loud so it startled me btw haha.

Thank you for your feedbacks !

Yeah, it totally misses some introduction and global explanation. I felt that it could be ok not having it in the game, since I ran out of time and felt that it could convert into the global uneasing feeling I wanted the player to experience, but It might be too much, as some other testers felt the same way.

Same for the sounds, I put them at the last minute, my bad haha. I wanted the weekend sound to surprise, but the pitch was clearly too high.

I liked this one. It was a unique concept.

Very very interesting game, great execution, really nice job with the fake OS! Figuring out how to do that in Unity was most of my weekend haha, you did a great job with it!

Thank you !

To be fair, Godot has really great tools to make a fake OS ! I mainly used pre-constructed "Prefabs" already in Godot, especially for the Windows. If you are interested in it, I would recommand you to see this conf on YT, where a guy introduced his fake OS project made with Godot :

It is so powerful in this way that you can make games like this :

Ooooo, I haven't tried Godot (Unity is my go to for game dev projects,) but this all looks pretty cool, I might give it a try! Thanks for the resources!

this game was great and thought provoking. i thought it was really well done and the storytelling was simple, yet powerful. great job.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words !
I'm glad you felt that way, that's what I was aiming for ! It isn't easy to do it in a few days, I was afraid to be clumsy in my design/writing.
Thank you again !

This is like -- really interesting. It gives me Plague Inc. vibes?? I would only ask for a tutorial in the future so I know exactly what I am managing XD great game, hope to see it expanded on.

Thank you for your feedbacks !

You're right, it misses some explanations haha. I liked the fact that you could get lost through all the infos, and get uneasy after a while, but it might be too much.

Idk if I will work on it in the future, but for sure I will make bigger fake OS games with messages !

Imagine making an entire fake operating system as a web game in Godot in a weekend while the rest of the industry runs around in a panic trying to figure out why their Unreal Engine games aren't working on Steam Deck.

Amazing job!

Developer

Hahaha, thank you a lot ! :D (I am glad I quitted my previous job hahaha)

It was a blast to discover how to make a fake OS, honestly Godot is pretty well equiped for it ! If you are interested in it, I saw a Godot conf on YT where a guy showcases his fake OS made with Godot, I learned quite a few things with it ! (If you type "Godot conference Holy OS" you should find it)

The voice acting was great and the visuals really felt like a bunch of parody systems being used to run a country. I did have a tough time figuring out which country was which and what the choices did, but I think that's just on me for being smooth-brained. Great job making a fake-OS for this game jam though and thanks for sharing! :)

Thank you for your feedbacks ! :)
Yeah, the amount of information is rather dense, and the rythm is quite high, but at the end I quite liked the fact that it puts you in an uneasy position. I though it would fit with the message I tried to share !

Thank you again :D
