The overall polish feels good ✨

Nice job. Very good take on the theme. Congrats!

I really, really like the concept of this one and would love a full version. I agree with the other comments that say the initial progression is quite slow - I got to my fourth or fifth shift and still only have 6 guys for the majority of a five minute shift, so the waiting can get quite tough. With some tuning on that I would DEFINITELY play this regularly. I also unironically need the 'born to reap' sweater rofl. Cheers!

Super polished game overall and very fun!!

The little "plops" and animations of the Obol being collected and transformed into levels is SUPER satisfying. I also appreciate being able to disable the CRT effect, I tend to prefer crisp visuals so really like that detail!

As for the game itself - I really like it, being half an idler, half having to kill all of your little people haha. Really great concept, will be playing this for a while!

Edit to add: After a little longer playing, I do think the idle part could be sped up a little bit, with a timer present I'm really hesitant to leave it running, but it seems to take them a while to do anything, and I'm tempted to just destroy everything to progress on. Still enjoying though!

This was interesting, it could use some balancing in the progression and stuff but I see what you were trying to do.

Hope you continue to work on this after the jam, would like to revisit this one!

So this is what it feels like to work in an office. Definitely the type of game I would sink my time into. Good Job!

I really like the graphics and the approach to the theme. Transitions are nice, it makes the game feel polished.

As others have mentioned, the progression is slow. Even with upgraded odds, houses would never add more than 2 settlers in a 4-minute run. This would have been awesome if the ramp-up was more accelerated so you could get to that power fantasy of squashing little people.

I'd love to see this expanded as a mobile game, it has the potential to be a very fun time-killer when on the go.

Really enjoyed the upgrade system! Was a very nice and clean gameplay loop as well. Would love if there was a bit more variety in the way we collect coins, but had fun all the same. Good job!

I really enjoy games like these, however, while I was playing this game, the reproduction chance seemed a little low. I found it better to just keep resetting each day with the starting people to earn the most. The prices also seemed very high, and the wizard had an absurd amount of health. I did enjoy playing it for a solid amount of time, but I can see it be improved upon a lot. Well done!

Nice job!  A great clicker, and right on point with the theme!  I hope you get a lot of good feedback :)

For me, the 3 minute shift timer was a long time :)  But maybe it becomes more importang in the later phases?

Thanks for playing! Will play your game too!

This is really solid! A well scoped clicker with some retro vibes and modern juice.

Seems pretty solidly coded too. Didn't run into any glaring issues. Dialogue did skip a line once? But that might have been me.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yes the dialogue skipping was caused by a last minute hardlock hotfix, but it's better than the game being unplayable :D

Nice one! Kudos for the simple commands, visuals, dialogs and the CRT nostalgia. Great work!
