Beautiful art! The grashopper seemed a bit unresponsive in jumping for some reason

Cool idea. Found the environment to e a little too crowded when I got bigger. Good job!

This is so creative wow! so impressed!

This was such a unique idea, and I absolutely loved the pixel art of all the different creature! The ending was funny and quite unexpected. I definitely agree with what some other people said about controlling the grasshopper; I think maybe the cooldown between jumps was a bit long, so it felt super tedious when trying to get anywhere horizontally, and just holding down the spacebar got old after a while. Other than that though I thought this was a fun game! Great job!

Great pixel art and cool idea. I couldn't continue your game after I became the grasshopper, as the controls felt not responsive and button presses were often times ignored. If you decide to update this gamne post ja,, I'm willing to try it again to see what all the fuss in the commetns is about. It feels like it could be a good game.

Cool use of the theme, and great pixel art! (But I'm also a grasshopper hater)

This was so cool!!! Definitely fits the them! loved the experience!

It's the theme right on the head nicely done! Tho I will say the grasshopper was the hardest part the jumping controls were a little inconsistent which messed with the flow until I got to the next (no spoilers) creature.

Really clever take on the concept, the graphics are really nice and laughed at the plot twist at the end. Great work!

Really interesting game! It would be good if there was some sort of way to know when you can jump as a grasshopper, I was hitting space but wasn't doing anything sometimes (It felt like there was a cooldown maybe?) The other critters were really nice to move.

Really nice idea and visuals, the grasshopper section was a little grueling but besides that a very cool idea and well executed! Short & sweet, well done!

I really enjoyed this a lot, just wish it was a little longer bc it has so much potential! The ending was especially cool

pretty fun game but remind me to never become a grasshopper

That plot twist!
This is such a fun idea for the prompt! Good job!

Nice little platformer. I am one of the people who fell down the giant grasshopper pit, but I stuck it out until the end. The difficulty could use a little balancing between the "characters" we control, but other than that well done!

Oooo, this is a really fun idea. The end got a laugh out of me lol.

I like the idea and it could be very fun, however the movement was glacial which caused frustration and boredom. With a few tweaks to your move speeds this could be a very enjoyable game.

It was just that darn grasshopper!!
