Cute Game! Would be fun with some tunes. Definitely has that addictive quality to it.
Games like this with simple mechanics and such clear and solid progression are my weakness. This was so much fun! Sometimes it was pretty hard to see the mostly-broken tiles against the background so it felt like I was stuck on nothing, but that was barely an issue. Getting to absolutely destroy the terrain after getting infinite money was so satisfying too. Very well done, and great work!!

I kept digging but stayed broke I think I am a bad miner. the Sprites and animations look great.

The sprite work was really good on this one! reminds me of that one flash game if you know what im talking about. I loved feel of mining, idk maybe it had to do with the sick swing animation

Jokes aside, this game is excellent. I'll admit I was initially worried the game would just be grindy or low effort, but I was very wrong. I have very little criticism to give. Super satisfying, the sprite work and sound design is stellar, and everything feels snappy and responsive. I did end up finishing the game, and the whole experience was quite fun. One thing I'd recommend is adding music, the mining could definitely benefit from it. Perhaps implementing different music for each stone type region could make you feel like you're progressing.
Either way, it was a very fun experience, and I'm sure you'll end up with a high rating. Hope you end up placing high!
The game feels rough to play at the start since the player needs to dig 2 blocks wide to move down and 3 blocks high to move horizontally. After getting the area size upgrade, the digging felt much easier, but I feel like the player should already have one area size upgrade at the start, or at least make the upgrades all much cheaper for the first purchase so that players can experience more at the beginning while still enjoying the grind. It definitely became more fun after obtaining the first few upgrades after some time. :)

It's exactly what it says on the tin, and it's incredible. I spent more time on this than I'd like to admit - the mechanics are incredibly satisfying, and remind me of something that I would have found on coolmathgames as a kid (in the best way possible). The sound design is fantastic, too, and really makes you feel like you're whackin some blocks with a pickaxe. Overall an incredible experience and one that I will be recommending to several friends!
