I'm not sure why so many people are reporting issues with the instructions, unless you fixed that at some point, but everything worked just fine for me! For a first game I'm really impressed with this, you did fantastic! The writing was fun and engaging, combat had an interesting and unique mechanic and visually it had its own flair and stye. You avoided all the expected issues that first time rpg maker game tends to have.
I was really curious where the story was going to go but then it ended dang it haha. You should absolutely do more!
I'm happy the instructions worked for someone haha! And thank you so much, I honestly had no idea what I was doing throughout the whole process of making it, so it makes me so happy and thankful to hear that it was enjoyable in some ways at least! :)
And I'll definitely try to finish it at some point! I actually already planned out the whole story and made the ground works for all of the maps, I just bit of a bit more than I could chew and realized that I wouldn't have time to finish all of it hehe.

Liked the music. Had the issue with the instuctions too when using my keyboard. It closed when I used my mouse to press the button. Good game!

Oh no, I can't close the instructions! From the flash of the screen before the instructions, it looks really good and enticing to play but I just can't get the instructions to go away. I also really like the sounds that I can hear from that first screen. Wish I could try this! Also, other random feedback is I wish you customized your itch.io page for this game to have a dark background so it's not blinding white next to your game which is more dark.
A lot of people apparently have had this issue 😭 I don't have my computer for like a week so I can't fix it now, but others have said that pressing space closes the instructions! I don't know why it's like that though, but I will look into it when I can. And I didn't know changing the games page was an option, but now that I know I will try to change it, so thank you haha :)

This is ADORABLE and I love the music, simple fun mechanics, and the sound design. Also, you press space to close the instructions, I got stuck for a second on it too just because it's not mentioned.
Shh don't expose me like that, the anniversary has been on my mind lately lol.
And I had no idea about the space thing, for me it was just x or enter that worked, but I should definitely update that/the instructions when I have the chance, so thank you for telling me! And I'm happy you found some enjoyment out of it at least haha :)

Can't close instructions
Hmm, it might be that you are clicking out too fast? There is a slight delay in the image showing, so it takes a few seconds before you can click out. I didn't have time to fix it before submitting it (and I don't have my computer for another week, so I can't fix it rn unfortunately 😭)
I feel like this has some crazy lore to it that I didn't find. Overall I enjoyed the game, I love the snappy fast movement.
