Nice game. I'm not a big fan of this style but I think you did a good job overall! One thing to bring to your attention. It's VERY easy to camp the top of the screen and destroy everything as it loads in. I see you added some invisible barrier to prevent this, but it only appears to last for one shot. The second I shoot twice I'm able to make it through and kill everything before they have a chance to fight. Also, the music abruptly cut out during the second wave and the subsequent boss fight, but that might be on me because I was killing everything way too fast. It came back in wave 3 though so not a crippling bug by any means, but something to make you aware of anyways. Thanks for making it!
