Great first game especially with such a time crunch :3 I think there could be big potential with the story if you decided to keep developing the game!
This was very well done for a first-time game, so great job! Like the others that commented, I do wish the story was a bit more cohesive, but I totally get the time crunch; we weren't able to implement things we wanted in our game either. The mini games felt nice, and I didn't have any issues with the evil moving button or the mop. If you have time we'd love to hear your feedback on ours! /jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3933344
I feel this could have been a bit more cohesive, but the button that moved away from the cursor was evil, and could have been a whole game on its own :) Loved how you used it as a narrative device and implied pressing the button is killing someone. Really fun, creepy little game. (also, the monitor is nightmare fuel, it made me uncomfortable lol, good job!)
Love the aesthetics of this game! The little minigames between the story adds a grim contrast. Like Saw, Alice in Wonderland and Mario party!
I was a bit confused how suddenly it ended. I played again but chose a different path after the police and it still ended pretty abruptly. I guess you ran out of time, the time limit was a little short.
Really good effort for your first game! I think the ideas were there, just not enough time.
Well done!
Interesting premise. I recommend making it so you can skip through dialog.
