Hello! Same as a lot of other people, I'm looking to play and rate some games, and would very much appreciate getting a rating in turn!

My game is "At Death's Door": https://sleepy-giant-productions.itch.io/at-deaths-door

Good luck everyone on the jam, and can't wait to see what you made!

(1 edit)

Just played it and I thought it was great! There were a few small things here and there, but that's to be expected with a jam like this. Only bug I ran into was when I was able to walk up the shower curtain. All in all, excellent work!

Here is my game if you want, hope you like it c:

Just played it and I thought it was very fun! The penguin was very cute and switching between the plushy and soul was a really cool mechanic! Great work!

The guy I built this with submitted it so I can't rate since I don't have a submission but I'll definitely review it soon. Here's ours if you're interested.

Look at my jeans /jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3930675

I looked all over those jeans and I gotta say, they're pretty rad.

I agree

Give mine a try?

I really liked the concept. The idea of climbing onto the souls of the damned to try and get out of hell is a really neat idea. Like you said in the description, there are some obvious issues due to the time constraints, but I think with a little more time, this will be sick!

Yes please!!

https://fionaraab.itch.io/the-anty-christ

I made The Anty-Christ, my first game, with my husband. I have no coding experience so this was a doozy of a feat for me. It's crazy how I've done nothing else every moment for the last few days and barely got something in.

Submitted

That was loads of fun! I only got ending 2 so far, but I really wanna go back and get the rest! I hope you stick to making games, for your first one, that was great!

Submitted

Thank you very much! It definitely needs A LOT of work, which I will definitely be putting into it after the judging is over.

Thank you! Here's our game! We underestimated the scope of this game a little bit but we are proud we could still complete most of it and get a submission going. Most things that we planned at the start are implemented but there a few things we would like to improve and add later on after the jam, like more enemies, more weapon types, elemental damage, more levels as well as some bug fixing (for example the waves aren't counting correctly in the UI). Overall we had a lot of fun developing this game (and countless sleepless nights xD).

https://goncalo-oliveira.itch.io/deathlike

You control the Messenger of Death and must fight wave after wave of enemies, you can make your journey easier by collecting their souls, which you can use to buy upgrades, such as more attack speed, a better jump, higher critical hit chance and many others. However, you must sacrifice your life to get these upgrades, you'll start from the beginning if you do this, but your upgrades will remain in your next life, giving you a better chance to deal with the waves of enemies.

Hope you enjoy it!

Here's our game Vessel! It didn't turn out quite how we wanted but we did the best we could with the time we had!

Really creepy, gross, and uncomfortable, which is exactly what you were going for I'd imagine XD! Really great work!

If you want some meta platformer here is my submission:

/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3936670

I don't think many will complete it because of the last toll:)

Submitted

Just rated it! I thought that was sick! I did definitely get frustrated with some of the platforming, but the tolls were a really good, clever idea. Good job!
