This was fun, nice work Wesley!

Thanks so much tine!! I really appreciate you taking the time to play!

Thanks!

The wall symbols were meant to be a visual tutorial to teach you the boomerang mechanic, but it sounds like that wasn’t an effective tutorial. Did you have any ideas on how we could improve teaching early mechanics to the player?

Thanks so much for playing!!

Yeah really great idea! Thank you for playing!!

Thank you so much, I’m happy to hear it gave you that “proper game” feel when playing!!

Thank you for the feedback! The VFX / visual polish / sound design were our main areas of focus for this game, so it means a lot that those were appreciated! Level design definitely got less time because of those things, so we’ll need to improve our workflow in future projects. Thank you for playing!!

Thanks so much!! I’m really glad you enjoyed the art and sound design!

Thank you, we were very happy with how the sound design turned out!

Thanks for playing Taz, great feedback also!!

Lol glad you enjoyed playing!!

Thank you so much!! Those were the areas we worked on the most, so that means a lot!

Thanks so much for playing!! The art and music were definitely our focus, and we’re happy to collect feedback so we can improve other areas for future games. Thank you for your kind words!

Fun little game, nice work!

I remember you from some of the mini jams last year, it was cool to see your name pop up for this one too!

I didn’t expect this game to be so addictive, but once I started unlocking some better upgrades I had to play it all the way through to the end! Super satisfying gameplay loop, nice work!

This game is a wonderful little work of art and I greatly enjoyed playing!!

Thank you!

I won’t post here but I did make a gif version on bluesky, thank you for the suggestion!

That’s very kind, thank you!

Thank you very much!

Thank you so much Polyducks!!

Thank you!

I did a little concept art for “Fossil Park,” a fossil game for the Nokia! Featuring my 2 newest OCs, “Flora” and “Rex”! Do you have what it takes to brave the park and take care of your very own fossil pet?

Yep this is DoinkieDoph’s artwork, I just provided a name for the piece.

Great work by the way, this guy is hilarious!

And this little dino’s name is Rex!

A fossil of one of my favorite childhood dinosaurs, the Ankylosaurus!

Thank you! 🖤🤍

Thank you!

I love the digital take on the underworld theme, so cool! Also this color palette is amazing, did you put these colors together yourself?? Either way, you used them very well!

I love this little cylinder, slice of a different world viewpoint we have, it’s a very cool perspective to give the viewer!

Since this is in the sprite sheet category, I would call this a success because I really want to play this now! Nice work, love this ❤︎

I love a little adventurer! The blue and the glowing sword is making me think of Sting from the Lord of the Rings, and I really like it! This makes me feel like he’s in a game, and I could just plug in a controller and start playing. Also I really like how you have some soft shading on the hero, but the ghost is all outlines, great work!

You used some BOLD colors and I love it! I think super high intensity, high contrast, is rarely executed this well. The bright white and orange glow almost gives a photographic effect, like when you try to take a picture of something super bright. And I think that enhances the feeling that this is a real place. Great work, I really like this!

I really like the visuals and your description of this monster! I think some of the scariest enemies in fantasy are the ones that are more of an entity or a hunger itself, rather than a person or animal. And the fact that you can only see the mouth and teeth shrouds the rest of this creature in mystery. So good!

This looks super cool! The box shaped robot with the little legs almost reminds me of the enemy from It Steals, except this one isn’t quite as creepy!

I really like when people do game concept art, this looks great! Super happy someone did a retro Gameboy submission. Did you use a color palette, or make your own? This almost looks like a Nintendo GB color palette I found on color hex a while back

Cool tileset!

Thank you!

At first glance I just saw generic overgrowth, and I love that you can see hands emerge as you examine this piece!! So creepy and vivid, I really like the feeling you were able to portray with this artwork!

Oh thank you so much, that’s so kind! I really appreciate your kind words, that means a lot!! ❤︎
