Very nice! Feels good to play, and fun to learn how to use the attacks correctly and make use of dying, fun! well done!

I kind of cheesed every boss :D But it was a lot of fun.

What a fun little dungeon crawler game! The fighting was pretty satisfying, and I liked that all three bosses were unique! I also appreciate that each of the bosses is like the leader of one of the mini creature forms! My favorite little guy was probably the fire throwing imp/satyr things, they're super cute! Unfortunately, I beat the game before I was able to buy any of the upgrades, so I'm not sure what they all do, but that's just because the attacking was built in such a straightforward and intuitive way! It was very satisfying gathering a crowd of enemies for one big slash!

Overall, an incredibly fun and easy dungeon crawler for anyone to enjoy! I never got to see the fish/venus fly trap guy on the cover, but I hope to see more games from you in the future! Great work! <3

Was a bit confused at first since I didn't how to attack because there was no information on the game page or the in the game itself, before I realize I attack with the mouse button.

A pretty simple game, but I think it was impressive that you did everything by yourself in the time frame. Well done!

I thought the theming and the story was a bit mismatched considering that it was a sci-fi story, but you turn into a ghost, which is usually more like a fantasy thing, but I guess Force Ghosts from Star Wars exist haha. I also thought the physical form is kinda meaningless since the ghost form is exactly like that, but just with more abilities like goign through walls.

Thank you for playing and the great feedback! I cannot believe I didn't even think about telling people the controls in the description. The point of the ghost form was to give the player a decision if they wanted to have less health and be able to expolore parts of the map or stay physical and have things restricted but that idea wasn't really fleshed out at all... oh well and I guess its just a difference of opinon but space ghosts don't seem like a mismatch too me! Either way thanks for playing and giving your time create this well thoughout feedback!

Is it supposed to be that everytime I defeat the trickster I win? I don’t think there are any more bosses, but it feels like I am missing something (since there are so many upgrades I didn’t buy). That aside, really fun game!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words, and it seems you played it quite a bit! I wanted a final very strong boss that would need you to have most of the stronger upgrades but I didn't have time to make it. It also seems I made the game abit too easy if you beat all of them with just 2 upgrades! Either way thanks for playing and the feedback.

After some confusion with playing it in the browser (because it wanted to open a popup) I thouroughly enjoyed my time with this game. Enjoyable take and great theme adherence!

I was playing in Opera, and it was impossible to read anything, unfortunately. However, still impressively done in the short amount of jam time. I couldn't see any fullscreen option, and it was hard to make things out, but good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the thoughtful feedback! I've now pressed the button that allows fullscreen on itch (which I should have pressed before)

The game was really fun to play, and the art was gorgeous. I did struggle to read the text, though, but that could also be because I am playing it in the browser and couldn't get it into fullscreen.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the kind words! I'll increase the font size after the Jam

The spritework was super impressive and I definitely did not expect a souls boss lol! I thought the dying mechanic was really creative too!

I super enjoyed this game! I love the mechanics, the art style, and the gameplay! Part of me wishes you made a full on dungeon crawler because I think it'd be super cool. I would have loved to see what you would have made up with more additional time.

Good work!!

Thanks for playing and the compliments!

I won!! I really enjoyed this game, you managed to packed in so much content, with 3 or 4 unique bosses! The visual style and effects are really nice. A joy to play!

I love the tiny little characters and all the charm! I also liked the game loop, it works really well with the theme of the jam.

The chat bubble text seems just a bit too small, but other than that great!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'll fix the text after the jam!
