The game was enjoyable, but the implementation of the theme either went over my head, or was pretty simple (the only connection with "Death is an opportunity" I can see is that you fight skeletons (aka. dead people walkin'). Jack did say that you can take the theme as you want, so even if my interpretation is correct, that should not be a big fault. The visuals were pretty nice, although the menues would overlay with the HUD and some of the images didn't match the PSX (pixelated) style of the game, which I actually overall really liked! Like the "Press U for upgrades image" I think could be something with less resolution, to match the aesthetic of the game. The shooting was fun, the gun also has really nice muzzle flash animations and recoil. The upgrades were sometimes too much, I went to upgrade speed a bunch of times and I suddently could barely move where I wanted to move to. Maybe have a limit to how much one can upgrade. Also, if you will continue, the upgrades are pretty nice, but I think you could add more, like damage, reload speed, ammo capacity, etc. Or maybe even add more guns! I think this has potential and is on a good path! I really think that if you give this more time, it can become a pretty solid wave FPS experience! Good job!
