Very great! I like the visuals and sound design, great work!

Only have one bug to report, i got in the settings after i came back to main menu from the game, and for some reason i was stuck there with no way of going back, the "Back" button was broken, so I had to restart the game, nothing game breaking though as it happens in the main menu.

This one was simply amazing. The visuals and artstyle are great, and the sound design deserves a huge shoutout, both for the good composition and arrangement, but also sound design. The use of different effects and audiospatial attention is so good. The gameplay is also fun, and you’re left in anticipation to whether or not you succeeded or not.

And as I said on stream, HMU when it releases on Steam and I will speedrun both Any% and glitchless XD (tab-warping will make the wildest splits)

Beautiful artwork, congrats! Rated it!

It would mean a lot if you could rate my game too! https://fernando-ferreira.itch.io/death

I also really liked the soundtrack, it fits perfectly

Initial response (audibly) was: "OH! It's voice acted! Nice!"

Not me trying to read the name [redacted by external beings] out loud!

Minor critique, but not game breaking: when I made an offering to [redacted] by accident there was no way to go back! To be fair, that's on me!

Forgot to mention, but the scalpel part was really cool! Would love to see different setups for different organs/parts in a full version!

Beautiful art and music, great atmosphere. Interesting mechanics. The theme was really well executed.

This game was really interesting! I enjoyed playing it! I love the way you did the hints and how they were written. Well done! The mechanics were also interesting and the minigames were clever and fitting to the theme of the game. Couldn't find any bugs or problems with the game in terms of mechanics, however my only complaint is that the game should have some kind of checkpoint so that you don't lose all the progress if you get something wrong later on. I also wish there were more varied types of minigames.

Game's really creative and original and the idea as well! It also fits really well with the game jams theme so great job on that aspect! The story is really dark but I loved it. However there's one nitpicky thing I want to say here: the dialogue should have names identifying who's talking. It can get a little confusing to understand who is who especially with the same voice actor. I know you used a sound effect over the voice for this but I feel like that's not quite enough.

Even though the visuals are not my type, I recognize they were really well made and there was a lot of work put into them! So I'm throwing my subjectivity away here and recognize that the art is really good.

Overall the game was really unique and interesting with a dark story that fits really well with the jams theme. Mechanics could use a little bit more variety but that would be an improvement for later. No bugs and fluid gameplay as well as great art make this a promising entry and quite a good achievement for the time frame in this game jam! Congratulations on the submission!

What a game! And what a great way to teach me I should never be a surgeon, haha. Man my hands are unsteady. Haven't finished the game yet but I love the concept, art and sound design. I'll leave a rating-- Super cool!

Really creative context, it really fits the theme. It took me a while to understand how to complete the first offer, but I managed, but I must confess I don't know what to do with "mars" and "venus" informations lol, so I couldn't do the second offer. Really solid game and concept, congrats for this game

Developer(+1)

really glad you liked it !! As for the mars and venus ,,, [whispering] you could search for their symbols in order to solve the riddle ~~

A fun concept and story!

This was a lot of fun! Taking the scalpel through the maze was way harder than i initially thought it was going to be (not in a bad way, i like the challenge).

Great job!

This was an interesting  game which reminded me of the scary maze. I had fun playing this one, the artwork is well done and good job with the presentation! Sorry couldn't play it on stream, But I had fun with it!

I agree with all previous feedback! Its a very great and eerie concept! Personally am a bit sensitive to medical topics in games so i didnt play through the entire game, but i highly enjoyed the visuals! I would suggest making usable items stand out more in contrast, as all the similiar values tend to blend into eachother at times. Great job, really well done!

Such an impressive jam game; I loved the gameplay. The VA, audio, SFX, were all great, but I especially loved your art and the way you use texture!! 💞

Note: I did encounter a bug! I was trying to adjust the audio in the main menu, which didn't work. Then I pressed escape and another audio menu popped up; where I could adjust the audio. But then that menu got stuck so I had to restart the game completely.

thanks so much!!!!!

we're thinking of fixing a lot of the bugs after the rating period ends, and the double pause menu is on our list o7

This was awesome! The writing and voice acting were spot on!

Yooo so good! I like that the first ending I got was quick to the point, I loooove the art style. I also love that you put Jack in it, although its a bit morbid XD The only note I really have is that the font is a little hard to read with it's effect -- as somebody with a visual impairment. But awesome game! Hope you develop it into something further.

I won't lie, I completely missed the contract the first time and cut all the organs out of the first patient XD. Really fun game though, reminds me of Life Eater. I just wish there was a way to go back if you start cutting the wrong organ, but otherwise that was really great!

i just came back to play this and saw that i left a comment that was meant to be on someone elses game?? thats so odd, sorry!! i thought this was super interesting though and i loved how graphic it was without it being overly gorey! i liked the clues in the contract being vague and you had to guess what everything was!! i almost wish though there there was an anatomy book of sorts that could help you pinpoint what each one was with specific references (like, the defensive organ could have a descriptive section about how it Defends xyz from zyx.) i loved the art style as well!!

THANK YOUU and don't worry about it, thank you for the feedback and we'll keep it in mind and glad you enjoyed the game :DDD
