Good game! Wish you luck for Ludum Dare!

personally I think your game is awesome! My suggestion would be to keep the crosshair on at all times. It is only visible when approaching the shop/harpoon-refill section. And so it was a bit harder to aim w/o one xD

Regardless it was a lot of fun and the music was very fitting!! I liked how getting all the turret stations improves the survivability drastically. I lost on my first playthrough but thankfully, the shop's unlock feature was permanent. I don't know if that's intentional or not, but that made a huge difference!

I hope your Ludem Dare Game Jam goes well!

I had a lot of problems playing this game because the camera kept moving to the right bottom corner. Based on the other comments this seems to be an issue that only i ran in to. Which makes me think it might be due to my setup (maybe an incompatibility with my mouse driver or VM).

Apart from that as far as a could play it was a fun little tower defense game, for me it was a bit confusing at first that you had to separately pay to unlock a tower before buying one. But apart from that the game was very straightforward and clear.

An enjoyable experience with a refreshing take on a tower defence game.

The visual and audio gave a vibrant ambience which added to the experience.

Awesomely done :)

Loved the fact that you could have octopus towers! I actually had fun playing it and was really trying hard to get all the octopus set up.

Good work !:)

Really nice water shader and art.

It felt like it was missing player feedback. Also, placing the refill station is a different area than the update station.  It took me a while to figure out that the refill station and update station were different. It would have also been more interesting if I had to go to a different spot each time for the refill. Running back and forth got a bit repetitive.

Not bad for a quick submission and that water shader is sick!

I don't really know what to expect from this but once I've started playing it it has Enlightened me with it's gameplay from the Copyright free background music to the Temu shark model. this has struck a place in my heart (like a tiny spot though not like a big one)

As this game is very Oceany the two critiques i have of this entertainment piece is that first of all the gameplay is quite lacking. But I'm atleast suprised that it actually ran smoothly on my laptop. Secondly I don't see the companionship aspect the Jam specified in any of my one playthrough's. So my theory is that the shark and the octopus are actually Madly in love with each other and have created many offsprings. which explains why there we're so many of them. but this is not specified nor confirmed in the actual video game so it's just my theory..... A GAME THEORY
