love love love! this game was so fun to play! i love how you have to use the obstacles to get to the checkpoint. so many cool ideas. Mechanics works well, animation is fantastic, really cute art style (i really like how simple it is, it kinda feels nostalgic ) would definitely like to see more of this game, Great job!

Cool idea. It took a while for me to understand the model of cause and effect between falling on the spikes and where they would take me. I was imagining this was going to be some kind of puzzle platformer where you really need to land at the right angle or in the right place to advance, but in general you could just keep moving forward and you would almost inevitable keep advancing. I also am unsure if it was intentional or just my computer,  I was pressing the Right Arrow repeatedly to move and I wished holding down the Right Arrow button would make the character continuously move forward. Good effort though, the character is cute and the music suits the type of game you are making.

Very cool game!, The walking mechanic of tapping for every step was a little hard to get used to, however I found you can almost 'bhop' to pickup speed, I do like the chaining of taking damage to get to places, very nice!

I really love the aesthetic you've got going — it's got a super cool, cartoony vibe that works so well!

My only issue with the game was the walking mechanics. Having to press a button for each step started to feel a bit tiring over time. I’m wondering if I might have missed something or misunderstood how it was meant to work?

That said, Mr. Punchy’s Deadly Derby is an awesome name — The name instantly grabbed my attention!
