I have a problem with this game. I loved the visuals, but the backtracking over and over and over is too much... it's not fun. I've seen many people take this route of "die/respawn/repeat" and I feel it's a mistake. Maybe it's not just your game, it's the fact that I came to your game after playing so many of these "die/respawn/repeat" games that I'm exhausted.
Again, the visuals look amazing and I'm sure you can make great games with your art skills (I've browsed your portfolio and the art looks really cool), this one is just not my cup of tea, sorry.
