Great game! Loved the visuals, and really liked the music, it was well done and added to the atmosphere a lot. It was fun going around finding the notes, and it was neat imagining that something was leaving them every time I left the room. Can't say I've got any complaints, well done!

This is super well done, very polished! Great story, great art and music, and very tense gameplay! The way the notes got progressively more concerning as you explore your house in the dark had me on the edge of my seat!
what a lovely game!! i loved playing through this, the art was lovely to look at and i loved the writing!! i definitely want to follow development as it moves forward, this demo was super cool!!! thank you for the experience of playing it!! :D
I do love when people tackle narrative in game jams, because it can be hard to inject a story into such a small segment of a game, so when you find yourself intrigued, it means it was done well. And I think you did so well! from the music and the scene of waking up in the middle of night, to walking through a dimly lit apartment, my curiosity was piqued to see it through!
Also kudos on the art and atmosphere. well implemented. I did however struggle to find the sticky notes and was lost on "what to do" at some points. if you were to continue working on it, I'd say think about the player experience and extra ways to draw attention to the things that need to be found, such as audio cues or other eye catching events.
For the sake of the time-limited jam, it was a really enjoyable tale!
thank you SO much for playing, it means the world!! im so happy that you liked everything, yippee! it makes me so happy to see the art well recieved (non pixel) because i went out on a limb and tried a new style for this!!
we definitely want to add audio cues, some jump scares, and other things to draw your attention, my original dialogue was a lot more fleshed out but we ran out of time and had to condense it all!! thank you for your feedback!!
I honestly like how the dialogue was portrayed, it actually built a solid persona to the character (at least in my mind), like it was an actual thought someone would have to reading the sticky notes! so you condensed it well :D
Also I adored the character portrait art. please do more non-pixel art!!
WAHHH thank you!!! ive had a friend tell me that she felt like an actual character and not just flat for similar reasons (including her planning to set boundaries despite her naiveity!), so im glad you also think so!!!
pixel are is NOT my forte and we had Kells and another friend lending a hand to that, so i appreciate you liking the portrait art!! i wish i couldve done even more facial expressions with her in it hehe. val actually made a joke about a hades / persephone dating sim anddd im kinda thinking about doing it, so you might see more of her / and them!
I reaaaally like the premise of this one, like a modern day persephone and hades au. Very cute! Nice art style, nice atmosphere and lovely music. I do like the sticky note mechanic in terms of the jam, but if you continue working on it -- I'd like to see it really honed in on. Fantastic submission!!
This was such a cool idea! I liked how the notes slowly got more concerning and disturbing, and I loved the music and art! By the time I got to the portal I wanted to know more, and I was definitely intrigued as to what would happen next. This was a great game!
What a unique and fun little horror! We really liked the story and how unnerving it gradually becomes. The main character design is great too! she’s super sweet (even if a little naive), and that makes the whole experience even more charming and eerie when things start to feel “off.” We especially loved how the world slowly changes to remind you that you’re not alone!
The main issues we ran into were mostly technical: the game wouldn’t full-screen properly for us (we tried multiple browsers), and during some cutscenes, the art didn’t fully cover the screen, so you could still see parts of the world underneath. It’d be great to have those moments fill the screen completely, especially since the art looks really nice!

Gameplay wise, the movement speed felt a bit slow, and with how much there is to explore and read, it did get a bit tedious near the end, though we understand the slower pace, just be nice for less things to bump into or a run button with stamina :)
Overall though, this is a really solid and memorable little experience! The tone, visuals, and atmosphere all hit just right, and we’d love to see a full version with more scares, story, and of course, more of that beautiful artwork! <3
thank you so much for your feedback!!! i'll definitely be letting our programmer know about the technical issues. the art covering too little / not enough / stretching / squishing was such a paaaaaaain, we tried to fix it last minute but for some reason it wouldn't work. it's on our bucket list! im so happy that you guys enjoyed everything! we do fully plan on extending this, so if you guys are curious you can follow along!! your mention about player walking speed has given me an idea though >:) so i thank you for that!
Enjoyed this game! Story is well done. If you keep working on this beyond the jam, definitely prioritize making the movement and collisions feel a bit better, I felt super clumsy bumping into everything checking if there were new notes, haha.
Very cool game! It definitely gets more and more unnerving the more sticky notes you read! The art is also really good! :)
Great art! The writing for the portal made it feel both alive and unnatural; I got a slight chill.
I wish there were more to do than pixel hunt for items. If it had a bit more direction, I can see this game being pretty banger
Nice job!
Enjoyed your game!!! left you detailed feedback on your comment on our post:

Love the story and pixel art is amazing. took me awhile to find all the stick notes, maybe add an small shine to it for player to find it better but overall really enjoyed it, good job :]
Fun demo! Can't wait to see what you do with it for a full game! The storytelling and visual were great!
Thanks for previously checking out my game, 9 Lives!
Cute little horror game very fitting for October. I like the art style, very unique, especially the portal at the end. Can't wait to see more.
Just replayed it after I found out a fixed version had been uploaded.
Very ominous atmosphere. I liked the character art. The four-directional flashlight could be a bit weird to angle at times, but good work overall.
