super cool! art was really nice too! It was a bit tricky to find all the sticky notes tho. Either way good job!!

Developer

Wow this was fantastic! I loved the art!! The music was really spooky too! Hades is a creep! haha. Great work!

Developer(+1)

LOL! hades isnt supposed to be a creep, but we didn't have much time to differentiate between hades notes and the notes left by the creature D:

Submitted(+1)

Oh! I see now! Haha. I thought it was one in the same. Haha. Good to know! I may need to go back now and replay. Haha

I liked so much this game. The art is really pretty, I can see the love that was put into this game. The story is really cool, and at first I thought it was just a coincidence that character named Hades. But when I saw the protagonist's name... Damn, what a cool game, congrats!

Developer(+1)

THANK YOU! i appreciate you coming to play it so so much!! we plan on extending onto this game if you want to tag along for it!

Submitted(+1)

Spooky! I had a little bit of a hard time finding all the sticky notes, but it was really cool how they slowly got more and more scary. The art is very good!

Developer(+1)

thank you for playing!!! they are a little tricky to find, maybe a bit tooo tricky. we're gonna revise it!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing artstyle and great music! I don't know if Hades is that nice in the real mythology, cause I don't know a lot about it, but it feels like a refreshing intepretation of the mythos!

Developer(+1)

thank you for playing!! he's supposed to be a sweetie pie to her in this, but the stickynotes get progressively more and more out of place hence why it gets weird for her bc its not like him!

Submitted(+1)

FINALLY got a free moment to play and rate this game, I loved it so much. As someone who is a sucker for greek mythology you did this really really well! Apart from things other people mentioned like sticknotes and for me the key being hard to see, this was great! Well done :)

Developer(+1)

THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!! and thank you for your feedback!! stickynotes WILL be upsized and the pomegranate bowl being .. yk... the thing to look in will also be adjusted to be a little more eye catching!

Awesome! Respect for being willing to help improve the game after jam :)

The art and music choice is perfect, such a good blend of pixel art and hand drawn. As the notes became more unhinged, I was on edge the whole time expecting a jump scare! I'm definitely glad you got a chance to fix this up after reading about your issues with github. Good game!

Developer(+1)

ugh, thank you for your kind words!!!!! this means the world to me, im glad you were on edge! we definitely had some jump scares planned, but ran out of time D:

Such a cute game with a dark twist...loved it...well done :)

Developer

thank you so much!!

i love the art and music, its amazing! the atmosphere felt reallly well done. i also liked the way the candles and flashlight light the enviroment, looks so good and polished. i also found reading the sticky notes to be really cool, the writing was really good, i really liked the transition from wholesome to creepy. my suggestion would be that the music should’ve been subtler or perhaps not present at all at first to make the transition work better maybe. definitely looking forward to playing the full game. :D <3

Developer

thank you SO much!! i really appreciate all your kind words!! i really like the idea of the music being more subtle, thank you for that!

Developer

itll be posted onto this account, the full game, if you wanna stay up to date with that!

A little hard to tell where the sticky notes are and it would be nice if the flashlight faces the direction the character is moving but Im playing the web build so It could just be a me problem.
I really love the art though! so fleshed out, both pixel art and 2d art looks amazing!! and the story is really interesting to follow through, like a classic RPG! Amazing game!!

Developer(+1)

thank you SO much for playing!!! the flashlight is one hundred supposed to face the direction youre facing........ i think its our web build that needs to be revisted, as youre the second person to mention this! thank you! im so happy you like the art and the story, thank you!

Really nice art and the story is intriguing. Having the sticky notes appearing around the apartment is a really interesting way to tell a story.

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for playing!

Very nice attention to detail, especially with things like the furniture or the way the flashlight flickers. The blending of pixel art and a hand-drawn style also works well together. For improvements, I feel like the player should move slightly quicker, and maybe make it more obvious where a stick note is.

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for playing!! i appreciate all your thoughts and feedback!

Very nice game! Loved the atmosphere and creepiness of the notes :)

A very cute game with solid spritework and storytelling. Great music, I had a hunch from the start the person leaving the notes was a bit... off, haha. Once I read "I don't like the way HE looks at you," I knew that it wasn't from the person she thought it was from lol. Definitely feel like this could be a cool story.

Developer

THANK YOU fOR PLAYING!!!! i am so happy that you picked up on everything we were putting down, yippee!!!

Sadly I got lost and confused, I imagine before the git issue it was much better, I tried going into everything but nothing extra happened and the door I assume that I left unlocked was locked

Developer(+1)

uh oh!!! there's 13 sticky notes in total and once you get to the final three one of them will have a note that has a dialogue piece that says: "a key? what is this talking about? what screams: hades?" which is supposed to be a hint to look around the apartment. at this point, you'd recover a key from the pomegranate bowl in the kitchen and try to get to that secret door you can see in the hallway!

Submitted(+1)

*praying* I will retry it!! It was really nice

Developer(+1)

i love you forever for retrying!! please let me know how it goes!

Submitted

I finished it!!! At first I felt like I missed notes, but on reply I definitely can tell they are spawning as I go, I did really like it!! Well done on it, are you going to continue working on it after the jam wraps up?!

Submitted(+1)

The sticky note saying the door was unlocked was spooky! It was fun going around finding all the notes - would definitely recommend hinting to the player where they are though! Good job on doing this in the timeframe though, especially with git issues.

Developer

thank you so much for playing!!!!! i had so many more directional dialogue pieces planned but couldnt execute because of time D: its our goal for when we expand on this!
