Haha, yeah i tries to do as much diegetic UI as I could but some things just didnt fit well in certain places. Haha. We're working on a demo that actually changes it so the board starts empty and you add to the cart instead of reduce it so hopefully that will help with any confusion. Haha.

Thanks so much for checking it out!! :D

Thanks so much!! :)

Thank you so much!! We have some fun additons to the game we cant wait to see what people do with them!! :D

Thanks for checking it out!

That we do!! Haha. Thanks for checking it out! :D

Thank you so much for the feedback! We haven't gotten much feedback about the tutorial so we will definitely work at making things more clear! :)

Haha, 100%! Amazing build!! Thanks for playing!!

No, you're are genuinely so peak! haha

Thanks so much for taking some time to check it out!! :D

No problem! Sorry again! My guess is some weird GX thing with some sort of hardware? Not sure honestly. Linux has some issues (forgot to ask if PC was windows or not haha).

Anywho, thanks for checking it out!! :D

Woah!!! That's awesome! We hope to have the updated demo out soon which should be even more endless fun we hope!! :D

Thanks so much for checking it out! :)

Thanks so much for playing! Funny you should mention it because we actually will have ALL OF THOSE THINGS! lol. We haven't implemented the granny selection screen yet, but we already have a buff system in place as well as rerolls! :)

From the demo we're working on:

Thanks again so much for playing! :D

We should have the updated demo ready for release within the next couple of months! We are very close now! :)

Oh wow thats so strange! What browser do you use? I assume chrome? It should work for chrome, but maybe not? It uses the opera GX browser export so not sure what all that entails? So sorry that happened to you!!

You can also play it on mobile too if that could help? I have android and know it works from there (but again, with chrome I think). Sorry! Might be something a bit out of our control with Gamemakers engine! :(

Once we release the demo (next couple of months as we are very close to done with it) it will be available for download on PC for sure!

Oh thank you so much! :D

Yep! Thats what raincheck does. It trades cash for total reduction. This version of the game lets you go negative. I thought it would be fun to have negative cash effects, but in reality its just confusing. lol. We've fixed / changed those kinds of mechanics for the demo we have been working on though! :)

Thanks so much for playing though! Glad to hear it works on laptops! Another laptop user had some issues with the rotation mechanics, so I guess it just depends on the laptop. haha.

Interesting! Hmm, my only guess is that maybe the game is registering the laptop pad as "mouse mode" consistently? Sorry you are having problems! I will have to get ahold of a laptop and try to debug that!

in the meantime, the game works with a controller as well as phone/touch screens too if you still wanted to check it out (two finger rotate for coupons).

Sorry again you are having issues! :(

Nice! Glad to hear it works okay! Need to play with keyboard controls a bit more to fine tune them some but glad those are good! :)

Thanks so much!! :D

Oh dang! Yeah normally you use the "mouse wheel" but you should also be able to use Q/E as well? We will definitely look into this though! Sorry it isnt working for you!! :(

Haha. Thanks again! Thats very kind of you to do and means so much!! Hopefully the next version will be more fun/easier to show off! Haha. :)

Wow, Thank you so much!! For the fuller demo we've been working on we didn't really add more pages, but we did add about 6 more slots and a whole system that expands on the coupons to give you more playable/deeper strategic options per coupon. :) we had thought about pages and may still consider adding them at some point, but we'll just see how things go first with the demo. Haha. Thanks so much again!! :D

Thanks so much!! :)

Yeeeaah, google doesn't really have a lot of options for fonts that are "receipt" paper like. Lol. I went with one of the only ones I could find. I was gonna change it but just said screw it since we plan on releasing the fuller demo on steam soon anyway and this is just mostly the jam version. Haha

(1 edit)

We are working on a fuller versions ATM actually that we plan to put on steam! :)

Thanks for checking it out!

Yooo! Thanks so much for taking time to not only play it but even make a video!! Cant wait to check it out!! :D

Wow thank you so much! And thanks for checking it out!! :D

Yoooo! Thats so awesome of you!! Cant wait to check it out!! Thanks for playing! :D

woohoo!! Please let us know what they think! We have been working on a demo that fixes a lot of the issues this version has but we are always excited to hear new perspectives and feedback!! :D

Yay! Thats awesome to hear!! Yeah for a programmer im not great with math either. Lol. I just mosrly wanted the game to be more "vibes" based than too strict with math calculations. Haha. The demo we have been working on makes this even easier too! Haha. Hoping to have the updated demo ready within the next couple of months! :)

Thanks for playing!!

Lol. Nice! Yeah we left some more broken ones in, just made them a little bit more difficult to get (e.g. needing to get 2 bulks). Great find though! Wont be as many issues easily finding broken ones like this in the demo weve been working on since the demo will be more "numbers go up" instead (and thus no "cap" on how high totals, categories, percentages, etc can go).

Thanks for checking it out though!! :D

Nice! Looks great! I would probably recommend using a separate camera, submitting all of the fauxton models raw to that camera & a surface (for shadow mapping) and then updating the fauxton shader to take in the shadow map. I highly recommend this video if you want to learn more about shadow mapping in GM!

Great work though! Looks awesome!

Absolutely incredible! Bravo!

Yes! We plan to have simplified chinese as well as a few other languages for the demo we are working on! :)

So it takes +2 from the total and spawns an "expired stamp" which is a +1 from total. Each time its activated it will spawn a new expired stamp too, so you can essentially end up with a bunch of expired stamps taking 1 from the total each time. :)

Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks! Some of those will be fixed for the demo but we still plan to keep plenty of breakability! Haha.

Thanks for playing!! :D

Yeah, that's one of the flaws with it being a "numbers go down" type game is that it makes percentage coupons and the like much easier to "cheese". For the demo were working on we have instead opted to go for a "numbers go up" version instead (where you add *to* the cart to hit the total instead of decrementing the cart that makes the total). Hopefully it will be a much more fun experience for people! :)

Thanks so much for playing!!

Thank you so much!! :D

Great thinking! Yeah we didnt do a major art pass from the original jam version but for the demo we have been working on we will have some more fine tuned art that fit the names & effects. Thanks for checking it out!! :D

Thank you so much! I have it uploaded on soundcloud but nothing official since its not really a "song" as much as it is more of a loop. Haha

Nice! Yeah, we plan to just make endless mode a simple button / choice for the demo. Haha. It was a neat idea in theory, but in actuality just a hassle. Haha.

Thanks for playing though!! :D

Thanks!! :)

Oh yeah, we still have a few broken combos in this jam version of the game but weve been working on a fuller expanded demo that fixes a lot of the breakability of it some. Haha.

thanks so much for checking it out though!! :D
